Is this the first white QB we ever recruited?? not that it matters but I am just curious. We had white QBS on the team. numberonebrave named Frank Foster, but didn't Jim McKinley bring a guy in from Monks Corner, SC to run his offense and he eventually transferred to Clemson where he played defensive back? Anyone remember?

OldschoolAggie I bought that point up earlier in this thread. Didn't we already have a discussion about this 2% thing. Stop saying I said 2% and spreading lies with your needing to go back to basic math cause I cant do percentages a$$, LOL Man stop crying like a kid. lol. I was only reminding oldschoolaggie that I raise the point about keeping count of the offers vs commitments it just so happen your 2% was part of that same conversation.

he definitely have great speed and he seem to be at the right place at the right time. But 5 8 is a little small I cannot believe Costal C. would recruit a 5 8 DB at a FBS level

Anyone remember? The kid's last name was Ryan and actually came in with Ellsworth Turner at the same time as freshmen under Hornsby Howell. They split time for a couple of games before Turner won the job and Ryan left for Clemson. He could run well but his passing was average and that is being kind. He later turned out to be an all-ACC DB in his senior year with them.

Ellsworth was way too good not to start anywhere. He was a gift from Coach Sutton.
