The coaches are getting after it! Does anyone think having the Big South label behind the coaching staff is helping them recruit?

The coaches are getting after it! Does anyone think having the Big South label behind the coaching staff is helping them recruit? NO !!! Recruits look at a individual schools productivity on the field of play and their chances for National Exposure . The footprint of the Big South conference is not relevant enough at this time to be used as an effective strategy for recruiting. The recruites that A&T offer scholarships to are kids that could careless about A&T's conference affiliation because at the FCS level it's more so institution first conference affiliation second unlike the P-5 where the conference affiliation holds a lot of sway !

The other question is whether high school coaches in NC, SC and VA view it any differently? Some might.

We've had a second 2021 commitment today. All those early offers appear to be paying off. I'll start a early 2021 commitment thread here shortly.
