Looking forward to being in the house at the MEAC Indoor championship in Landover, MD. Ms. Sturgis and Kiara Grant from Norfolk State ought to be one of the best 60M races of the year. The 400M with the freshman Ross and the senior Stewart should have national significance as well. One of my favorite sporting events of the year with great atmosphere and comraderie of HBCU's in one spot at one time! Chance for both sides to cement their legacy in the MEAC! I don't know what Coach Ross's secret is but the job he has done is remarkable!

How does The BIG South Track Programs stack up.. Not even close from the 800 down . The BS usually are fairly good in the distances (mile and up) and the weighted throws along with the javelin . The jumps are about even . A&T should dominate the BS in both male and female Track and Field events . They did have a long jumper that went 24'.11" .

Will they pose somewhat of challenge on the track?

They are fairly strong in the jumps and throws but other then that ; let's say neither there man or woman could compete in the MEAC .
