My son was part of the coaching staff at South West, when Kam was there, and he’s always told me that he didn’t understand how they don’t know what Kam can do or how to use him. He felt like there was a lot more to Kam than what we were seeing. I see what he meant, now...

....always knew he had 1st-team all-MEAC potential. If he keeps doing what he's doing, he's in the running for MEAC POY. He (and the team) just gotta stay healthy and focused.

Congratulations to Kam! Well deserved.
He really reminds me of Nate McMillian at NC State. McMillian was not a good shooter but one heck of a player that found a way to win. He had a unique skill sort of like Kam, that’s hard to defend. Don’t sleep on Kam’s D!

His hands and anticipation on defense are unbelievable at times. He's been overlooked because of scoring. So I'm glad to see him to get some recognition heading into this big weekend.

Kam has being shooting much better at the free throw line these past two games.
When he is playing under control there might not be a better point guard in the conference.

Clearly in the running (if not in the lead) for POY in the conference.....

Clearly in the running (if not in the lead) for POY in the conference..... I definitely believe Kam is in the driver seat for 1st team All-MEAC. It would take a minor miracle for Kam to surpass Jibri Blount for MEAC POY. Ron Jackson will be in the mix for 1st team, but will likely be 2nd team behind Blount. Cletrell Pope is all but assured to be 1st-team at the 5 spot. But the Aggie/Eagle on the 17th definitely has some star power on both sides. CJ Keyser is averaging 17 ppg since returning from injury. And Jordan Perkins is now 2nd all-time for NCCU in assists. The fact that both games will be on ESPNU was a really smart move by the MEAC office.

what goes unnoticed about kam is that he has "very quick" hands which is why he comes up with a lot of steals on defense. he reminds me of one of my high school teammates in that regard. my high school teammate had slow feet, but had extremely quick hands and led our team in steals. if he had been a boxer he could've made a living off of his "jab" because his hands were as quick as lightning, you'd never see his jab coming...

I continue to stand by what I said a few weeks ago, especially if we finish in 1st place. There is clearly no one more valuable to his team in this conference than Kam.... Ronald Jackson is clearly a 1st-teamer as well....

since when did kam become a "forward"? you think that might've been an intentional snub by the meac?
