agreed. i think we now have a "baby rivalry" with elon, especially since they finally brought a good number of fans to aggie stadium. but i think its a "friendly rivalry" if there is such a thing and i'm glad to see it will continue at least for the short term...

I think they believe that if they keep playing us that they can eventually recapture the series lead. I know they don't enjoy being 4-8 against us.

After Saturday night I have total respect for Elon but I see our football program more on the rise than Elon. If that there plan they have to beat us on the recruiting field before they can bet us on the football field and I don't see that in the near future. But we have to keep moving forward because we all know how fast you can go fron 12 wins to 1 and 10 |

We’re on a roll right now but they are probably more likely to have a long-term consistency in their program. It’s a good series but I’m willing to acknowledge the possibility they could even it up. Do we have a winning series record over any current mean member besides nccu and maybe Norfolk?

I noticed that too in regards to Elon, I bet they have scored more points than us we just have won more games. Howard & maybe DSU. The dark years did us in. We had competitive overall series with Hampton, BCU, and SCSU before we started losing. Schools that had historical series leads over us were FAMU and Morgan. Although, we have closed the gap with Morgan. |
