... and rightly so!
There were three articles and several tweets about the USA Championships from the Athletics website. NONE of them even mentioned that Kayla White even participated at all. She made it to semifinals and nothing. The only acknowledgment came from Bluedeathvalley. They owe her an apology!

She called us out in Austin for a similar omission.

We can't say "outta sight outta mind" because I saw her participating. She did not win or place when I saw her run. This is a bad way to show appreciation of her because of "what have you done for me lately".
She should be pissed because she has been bleeding 'blue and gold' for the last 4 years.
I am sorry I did not mention her participation. She can't win all of the time and that is no excuse to not acknowledge her participation.
Keep up the great work Kayla. Your hard work and dedication should be recognized from now on.
Thanks!!

But recognizing and promoting their former athletes could be better and should be better . It's not if you win the show all the time when it comes to recognition for me it's about being in the show that deserves the recognition even if you make the semi finals so I must agree with Miss White . A&T needs to continue you to cultivate their relationship with past and present Athletes . Hale have and Athletics Appreciation Day for former .

Ask sports information or the track coaches/personnel. People question why, and use the term "we" should show more appreciation for her work. Does that mean people in Engineering or the English Department. Maybe the Business or Economics Departments. That "we" is a broad brush. Where would you most likely find the "we" people? Why not ask the Athletics Department why they are not interested in publicizing the national events that some of their athletes participate in.

Not REALLY I said Athletes but I can concede and see your more direct point .... LoL . The next time I will refer directly to the athletic department don't do cymatics . Respect !! Oh never used we I directly said A&T Athletics . But I also feel that anytime a former student athlete or student of Academia achievements or recognize at a national level they should be recognized regardless of there Department .

WOW...this shouldn't happen and I understand why she feels that way.
We really should recognize her for her efforts and professional endeavors the same way that we've recognized her male counterparts in T&F, and the way that we follow and support Tarik, IMHO. She's going to make her mark on the track and field circuit.

I came back and finished the last sentence and posted it without checking to see if there were other comments. My apologies. The "we" thing has to do with some posts on this board where we comment about "we" (A&T), without being specific as to who, failed to have the vision of A&T's athletic needs (grass, turf, practice facility, sound system, Corbett Center) or carry out what we think is their responsibility to athletics, such as being informative.

It's all Gravy . We all have visions and there like opinions which is a good thing because it keeps you ( at least me ) from pigeonholing my priorities . Because I know for a fact that a great number of former Aggies have done great thing outside of the Sports rim but you never hear a word about them until they make the National news . A&T does not track there graduates like they should that is just a fact .

It was great to see the recognition and ovation Kayla got last night.
Savy move by Earl Hilton to give her the spotlight in front of a packed football stadium.

and she got that spotlight on "national tv"... Sent from my SM-G950U using proboards I hope we will also bring back Raynard cohen brandon DJ and others what they have done to make our program so great maybe during the nfl offseason we could particularly bring back all of our current nfl guys (mccrae, cohen, johnson, and parker) simultaneously to one of our home basketball games (maybe nccu), that would be really cool...
