Just saw a text that Kwe Parker was coming to A&T. He had played ( sat on the beach) at Tennessee for one year and then transferred to a juco. Not sure about his shooting skills but the kid can dunk. Based on his brief past it will be interesting to see what he brings to our team.

High Risk, high reward move. He is not a shooter like Tyler Maye..How will he react if Maye beats him out, or will Coach Joyner play a ver small backcourt?

i'll try to dig up some stats on parker but looking at his video, he seems to be able to knock down the outside shot. albeit, that doesn't prove his outside shooting accuracy though...

I've known Kwe for about 6 years. Tremendous athlete; anxious to see how all of this comes together..

One of the cool things about elite athletes is that they have tremendous potential to be exceptional defenders. We've seen an average athlete in Kam Langley be a very good defenders based on head, hands & heart. We've seen a slightly above-average athlete in Milik Gantz become a much better defender from year 1 to year 2 after he bought in. Kwe Parker has potential to excel on defense and use that to get himself out into transition. The athleticism of Kwe & Tyler also allow us to press more... something we couldn't do as much last year. It's all on guys like Kwe & Tyler to buy-in defensively. Andre Jackson has had a year of experience and I believe he will make a step change similar to Milik Gantz. Competition brings the best out of talent.

Can't speak for Gantz, but Kam was a great defender in high school and on the AAU summer circuit. Guys just don't start playing defense in college.
