Now the question is did Coach Rob know or was he one of the coaches she is referring to . Let “due process” play out first.

Let the process play out.......but ALL of our coaches need to have a mandatory meeting/seminar on sexual assault and how to report it in a timely matter. I don't care what people's attitudes are about the matter. I don't care if you think she's telling the truth or not. OUR COACHES NEED TO KNOW THE PROPER WAY IN ADDRESSING SEXUAL ASSAULT ALLEGATIONS.....PERIOD!
Seriously, there should be no ambiguity when it comes to this. Enact a policy....have every coach abide by it......and fire those who fail to do so.
If there is a policy already enacted and coaches failed to comply with it, they need to be fired. Looking after the student-athlete is priority #1 for all coaches. If you can't report a sexual assault allegation involving one of your own players, you are egregiously failing to fulfill priority #1......it's unacceptable in this day and age.

I thought that this had been done...especially after our previous situation happened.

Dang, 2 of her own teammates dogged her. I guess that still doesn't change that it should have just been reported and let them deal with it. Doesn't matter if they believed her or not. Just report and then you can throw your hands up.

No one is asking these coaches to be the police or prosecutor or judge. Simply report to the proper authority what has been stated and let them determine if it has any validity.

Let “due process” play out first. I'm sorry but this should never be an issue. I don't know or even care if there was an assault but if someone "said" it happened, then it needs to be reported LOUDLY! Sexual assaults (real or imagined) are like an atomic bomb... everything at ground zero is destroyed and the fallout contaminates everything near it. I'm sure the University is on top of this issue (God I hope so) but this should never ever happen. This is the second time our great nationally know University has gotten a black eye for an alleged sexual assault! Fix this siht now!
