Why are there 3 different uniforms - white, blue, and gold?

White for the Qbs and kickers, gold for offense, blue for defense.
I assume white means "do not touch".

Usually red or green is the defacto "do not touch" color in Spring Games. This is the first time I can remember us using white.

various teams use different color jerseys for the qb's, but the one thing they all have in common is that the qb's and kickers always have a color of their own. from the pics i saw, it was pretty obvious that nobody else was wearing white jerseys except the qb's and i automatically knew the reason why...
