I got a 6-10 high jumper Ross might want to look at. Not sure if Ross even recruits jumpers like that, but he also goes 45ft in triple. 6-10 wins most MEAC meets. And he is just a JUNIOR. Kendal Artis at Rolesville high school.
I know I can reach him eventually because he works the HS circuit really well, but just wanted to put it out there anywhere I could for now.

But 7-1 won the MEAC Outdoor last year. He would definitely be interested.

He has potential @ 45' and 6'10" and that's what it's about . A&T needs Field event and distance personal and the young man is only a Junior . Hit Ross up about him .

Not a bound, so he is very raw in the triple. 45ft with no 2nd phase is actually amazing! We are just starting to teach him 2nd phase. We have 2 years to fix it considering he a junior and track season just started. He'll be out at or pass 50ft by the time he graduate. T

You didn't say all that the first time. Definitely need to put Coach Ross on that.

Track rarely makes an offer prior to senior year, so I'm just seeing what schools even have interest in nurturing a jumper on the men's side. Not really sure if its Ross's thing or not? I need to go look where his guys stand historically in the jumps.

Hmmm,
In the MEAC outdoor, 6-10(what he is currently jumping as a junior in highschool) would have gotten him 4th. The winning triple was basically a 50. Yeah, he'll be beastly in both before he graduate. A&T guys did 6-9(SR) and 49ft(JR) respectively. He'll be better than both those guys coming out of high school.

I need to go look where his guys stand historically in the jumps. It comes down to points based on 12.6 scholarships. If you have a young man that can potentially get you 20 pts in the MEAC meet and qualify for NCAA Regionals/Indoor Nationals, then the antenna will definitely be up. Kayla White was discovered & signed because she started late and was in her development phase leaving school. Sounds like your young man may be further along.

He'll definitely get offers, I'm just trying to push A&T on him for obvious reasons. I think its a better cultural fit for him instead of some of these PWIs. For example, Liberty has already offered some money.
