2019 MEAC Spring OutlookBy CRAIG HALEY STATS FCS Senior Editor
(STATS) - South Carolina State fans are thrilled coach Buddy Pough was retained for an 18th season.
A lot of the other MEAC coaches may want to lean on him for guidance.
Pough is the true dean of the conference with his experience more than the other coaches combined. Included are three new coaches after there were three new coaches last season.
The MEAC will be at nine teams because Savannah State is dropping from the FCS level back to Division II. The conference will return to an eight-game schedule after one season at seven games.
Following is a look across the MEAC with spring practices underway in college football:

Minimal homework was done for that write-up.

Minimal homework was done for that write-up. Exactly...the usual gloss-over for us (and just about everyone else, too) by STATS.

That is all you need to know about the accuracy of that outlook.

That is all you need to know about the accuracy of that outlook. Aside from the date error, the write-up isn’t bad. We do have plenty to replace on both sides of the ball and Carter could end up being our Starter. For what it’s worth, I haven’t heard about the QBs heading to Miami , Panama City Beach or New Orleans for Spring Break.

Carter won't even participate in spring workouts ... so why is he the lone quarterback mentioned in our spring outlook? That is piss-poor research.

Either they don't know, don't show, or don't care about what's going on in the hood.

I don't know but even not participating in Spring Ball, Carter could still very well be named the started going into the Elon game.
