They played a clean game last week. I also noticed the defense has several celebrations after a couple of big stops/ hits; however the hoopla was well away from the play or of the Sav State players. So maybe that’s the happy medium ground deal Washigton cut with the team.
That’s ok as long as we stay in that space

They did not play a clean game last week.
Senior linebacker Deion Jones got flagged for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on a drive that resulted in a SSU touchdown.
We had 9 penalties for 75 yards in that game.

I agree. They played a clean first half and then after halftime it was flags and fumbles galore.

I am talking in regards to unsportsmanlike penalities I only remember 1 which is a clean game for us. Was not referencing penalities in general

That's a sad statement when we see last week as an improvement.
And I still see last week as an improvement.

"After halftime it was flags and fumbles galore" That is the killer for this team regardless of what type of flag it is it kills drives on offense and prolongs drives on defense . You don't have to have a major flag to stop your momentum on both sides of the ball and we think that we are FCS playoff ready if that is the case ( Hale no ) we aren't ready . CB ready maybe but the BS penalties are going to cost A&T big time down the road . It is time for the teams leadership to step up and put a stop to this BS asap !

Any thoughts on who is the team leader? From the outside looking in, Raynard seems too low key.
I agree, it’s not all on the coaches.

Well brace yourself for Saturday if you think we have improved in penalty area. I hope I'm wrong but I foresee the chains breaking off the fence, with those birds not having anything to play for.

Trust me they did some of the same things under Broadway but we just didn't notice the penalties as closely because we were winning.lol. The penalties in the to games A&T lost would not even be a conversation if we had won both games .

We were complaining about penalties starting in the first game against Jacksonville State and we've been complaining ever since.

OSA I will agree to disagree with you old friend . Someone one should look into it and compare the last few years of personals foul penalties .
