It was band day at in-state ECU so what The difference: 1. At ECU the BGMM were not allowed to perform at halftime 2. The high school bands in eastern NC are small and not very good. 3. Georgia high schools are better musicians than band students from eastern NC. 4. There are more minority band students at the Savannah State game than at ECU. 5. If you are recruiting talented students you go where there's more of them that have a higher probability to come here.

I, as well as others, hope that A&T can interact with the band directors and their students to tell our story and sell A&T to those young folks.

The high school students in the stands had their phones out everytime A&T played. They were highly interested in the BGMM. Hopefully we land some of them.
