Morgan got rid of the guy that beat us last year?
I think overall the MEAC is improving and I think we take a step back next year.
Del State improved dramatically over the course of the season;
Norfolk will probably still suck;
Famu will probably be stagnant;
Howard takes a step back;
Pough had Steat getting better and better until the last game and that improvement will continue;
If Morgan kept Jones they'll improve;
BCU better improve or else;
As bad as Central was last year I can only hope they get worse but they're bound to get better.

Of all the teams you just listed, which ones will beat A&T next year?

SCSU and BCU have problems much bigger than producing a quality football product Del State is improving, but I don't think they'll have the horses to compete with us next year Central will be Central If we play up to our capabilities, we avenge the losses to FAMU and Morgan Anything can happen from week to week, but as long as we have competent QB play, I don't see a Murderer's Row Schedule.

Carter was the answer for 2019, but as all of you know he was seriously injured. We also know that bones and joints are not always the same, after an injury. Hopefully, there is a miracle man somewhere out there ready to play or behind door number one.

i think our first 2 games will be as difficult if not more difficult than last year's first 2 games (jsu/ecu). elon will be as good if not better than jsu and duke will definitely be better than ecu was last year. we could possibly start the season 0-2, or 1-1 at best. i don't see us beating duke, but then again, i said the same thing about ecu last year.
we should win the next 3 games (charleston, dsu, nsu). i think we'll beat famu because of the "revenge" factor, even though we play them in tally. we "should" beat howard since we'll play them in front of a full house. won't be easy beating scsu in orangeburg, that game could go either way.
i expect us to beat morgan, again because of the "revenge" factor. bcu always gives us a hard time, but because we play them in greensboro, i think we'll squeak out a close win against them. and i fully expect to spank the buzzards next season.
so my unintellegent prediction for 2019 (of course my disclaimer is i'll likely change it before the season starts), currently is a record of 8-3...

I think our record will be 10-1 and that loss will be to Duke.
I don't think no other team in the MEAC or SWAC can beat us.

Just curious. Are the dates listed for the 2019 football schedule correct that are listed in this post?
I really need to know the correct date for Charleston.

The 9-2 might be correct base on what we know currently. Come second week Of Feb and I see our new recruits in particular the transfers and JUCO's and that could push me to a 11-1. The other major factor will be spring practice. This years spring practice will the most important one we have had over the past couple of years. So many questions.
Is 12-0 possible ? It would require 4-5 impact transfers and one of the spring practice qb's to take over that spot like it was his all along.

I received the tentative schedule directly from our athletic department. Like you, we all are waiting on the official release of the schedule which should include our 12th game as well as the date of the Spring Game. Historically, the schedule has been released in February so we will see. Only a small handful of FCS schools have released their 2019 schedules thus far...

All I have to say about our 2019 schedule right now that we know for sure is...we play Duke in Durham the very next week after they play Alabama in Atlanta. That doesn't bode well for us ... in my opinion.

I'm hoping that they will come in over-confident and overlook us.
Does anyone think that will be an mid-afternoon kickoff??

Duke will Carolina and Tulsa us. They're a middle of the pack ACC team as opposed to the FBS in name only slop we've been playing.
I'm hoping we can keep it within two or three tds. I'd be ecstatic if we somehow won.

The games we lose next year, if we lose any, will be because we beat ourselves.

I do believe the MEAC is gradually improving. I don't. Morgan and Howard will be rolling out new coaches, Pough will likely be coaching his final season, and NCCU's program needs a complete rebuild. Bethune is the only game I am concerned about, but we get them at home. That’s the only game you’re worried about? There’s no way you believe that match-up in Tallahassee will be a cake walk for the Aggies. The Rattlers don’t lose much of anything from the 2018 team and have some nice additions on the way. FAMU is trending upwards. And you better believe that the bad blood between the Rattlers and Aggies from 2018 will carry over into the 2019 game.
