Our fans don’t do very well on weekday night games, and before I retired I used to hate it too, going to work or to class has to come first.
Before we started the losing streak in the early 2000’s, we were averaging a bigger number for attendance, and even while we were losing year after year our ticket prices were increasing which didn’t make sense to me especially because of the kind of fans we have. We’ve lost fans that haven’t come back and probably never will during those hard times (I used to buy 12 tickets but now it’s just me and my wife).
The kind of fans that we have are fare weather fans that will leave the stadium if we’re behind or will not stick around to enjoy it if we’re way ahead. They pretty much sit on their hands during the games, but they at least show up on road games and have no problem at all being heard. The students, seemed to have shown up for most games, but for a university this size 75% of the student body should be sold on and bought into being a part of the great things happening with our football team.

I'd still love to know the real capacity of BB&T-Aggie Stadium. That 21,500 is not the actual capacity...no stadium's actual capacity is a nice, round number like that. FAMU lists their capacity as 25,500 and I know the actual, exact capacity...it's way under that.

Majority of the top teams have worst attendance. We are 10th in the country. Its 2 SWAC and 1 MEAC team ahead of us. That should tell u attendance and records arent exactly the factors

I know who won the games.......but like I said on MEACfanszone, fans have gotta start caring about the playoffs, IF THEY ARE THE END-ALL/BE-ALL for FCS football. 3 of 4 games didn't even draw close to 10K people. The only thing this tells me is that NO ONE CARES ABOUT THE FCS PLAYOFFS, NOT EVEN THE FANS OF THE RESPECTIVE TEAMS. I respect ND St and their fan base......they consistently bring it......but outside of them (crickets).
I gotta have more evidence the FCS playoffs matter more in the college football landscape before spending money to participate in it. I just haven't seen it.

The FCS playoffs are just too watered down right now for anybody to care.
24 teams and 5 weeks of extra games creates too much mediocrity.

Kennesaw football coach is upset with the attendance. Kennesaw has over 30k students.

I don't disagree.....but even before they expanded, they weren't generating any buzz. They remain an unimportant event within the annual landscape of college athletics.
