If we go to the Playoffs.I think it will not be Elon, but a rematch with JSU.If it happens I said it first... Wouldnt that be too far? Thought NCAA did regional matchups first game

Thought NCAA did regional matchups first game There won't be any regular season rematches in the first round and with Jacksonville State playing Kennesaw State, it's unlikely they'll earn a seed unless they win. Now Wofford, Furman and East Tennessee State are in play, along with Towson. All of this is mute if Bethune-Cookman wins the Florida Classic.

I don't think anybody said JSU wasn't going to make the playoffs. They're already in anyways aren't they since they're the OVC champs?

I am suspect on Kennesaw State, they play in the worst conference in FCS, they have no quality wins. I believe Jacksonville State will show them the business as revenge from last year playoff game. I think Kennesaw State will be a likely opponent for us more than Jax State.

Their conference is ranked several spots higher than the MEAC.

UPDATED TODAY... The crystal ball: 2018 FCS playoff projection By CRAIG HALEY STATS FCS Senior Editor (STATS) - Win and you're in. Teams on the bubble would love to have that opportunity for getting into the FCS playoffs this week. But when is the FCS ever easy? Montana State is in that scenario. Some other teams, too. But a handful of teams keep saying, "If …," followed by, "If …" As usual, the final two or three at-large spots will be picked from a group of candidates three times that size. Easy? Yeah, like calculus. The following is a projected FCS playoff field if the postseason started today. The 24-team pairings will be announced during a selection show Sunday on ESPNU (12:30 p.m. ET). --- PROJECTED BIDS BY CONFERENCE * - Automatic qualifier Big Sky (4): Eastern Washington, Montana State, UC Davis, Weber State* Big South (1): Kennesaw State* CAA (6): Delaware, Elon, James Madison, Maine*, Stony Brook, Towson Independent (1): North Dakota MEAC (1): North Carolina A&T Missouri Valley (2): North Dakota State*, South Dakota State Northeast (1): Duquesne* Ohio Valley (2): Jacksonville State*, Southeast Missouri State Patriot (1): Colgate* Pioneer (1): San Diego* Southern (2): ETSU*, Wofford Southland (2): Nicholls*, UIW Moved In: Duquesne, Montana State, North Dakota, UIW Dropped Out: Idaho State, McNeese, Sacred Heart, Western Illinois Bubble Watch: Furman (for SoCon auto bid), Idaho State, Indiana State, Montana, Western Illinois For the rest of the story: www.fcs.football/cfb/story.asp?i=20181113103616178711404

Their conference is ranked several spots higher than the MEAC. Ratings is one thing but I believe the worst team in our conference beat their worst team SSU vs Charleston Southern our best team (us) would beat their best team w no problem. Monmouth, Campbell, Gardner Webb, would all lose to our FAMU, Howard, and Bethune.. they would not even be games. They have less teams and that helps them.

You might have a strong point there.

wow! we're pretty much guaranteed an at-large bid if we can just beat the buzzards this weekend. i really think our wins over jsu and ecu "easily" outweigh our losses to msu and famu, especially since both losses were by 3 points or less. we're only "4 total points" from being undefeated again this season...
