We are not playoff ready on so many levels . I'm hoping for a BCU win over FAMU putting A&T in the CB . Unless things change with the teams focus I do not see a FCS playoff ready team . I agree! We won today but man was that game frustrating. If Norfolk wasn't so incompetent they would have beat us. We just look bad on both sides of the ball.

We’d probably do better in the first round against a pic than we would against an hbcu in the cb. Reflection of our head coach’s desire to see how we measure up nationally as opposed to beating the tar out of the fellow hbcu sitting in front of us.

Dooms I hope that BCU wins against FAMU in two weeks because unless things change drastically the next week A&T continues to show that they are not FCS playoff ready . Facts A&T's coaching staff continues to show to much indecisiveness in critical real time situations in the games this will kill us in the playoffs , Player continue to lose focus on both sides of the ball by making Bonehead mistakes in assignments and penalties , QB play to me is still shaky at times . When the running game is clicking for some reason we have a tendency to abandon it for the pass ( let Cartwright and Martin loose) , Raynard still tries to force the ball at times in a Tight Window also where is our Vertical Passing game ? A lot of those things can be corrected or should be corrected but they continue to happen . Now mistakes like that could possibly win the celebration Bowl but the FCS Playoffs or a completely different animal.

You won’t believe it but we’re ready for the playoffs. We have all the ingredients and we will be shock people, including you.

The following teams lost yesterday:
#3 James Madison #9 Wofford #11 McNeese St #14 Illinois St #15 Towson #21 Sam Houston St #24 Dartmouth
There's a lot of inconsistency in FCS. It's not just us. At this point, it's survive & advance, irregardless of opponent.

We might be Top#10 ...come Tuesday
If we continue to win and folks above us lose it’s not out of the realm of possible to be in Top 8

I’m not really worried about other teams being inconsistent. I’m worried about us. The types of mistakes we’re making against the types of teams we’re playing just aren’t acceptable. Especially at the end of the season.
All wins are supposedly good wins but it seems like a lot of our wins set us up for a loss down the road.

At this point, it's survive & advance, irregardless of opponent. Illinois State just put themselves on the bubble and and out of many top-25 polls. The Southland Conference just played themselves into a one bid league. As crazy as it sounds, we have an outside shot at a top-8 seed. There will be more chaos in the FCS this month. We just have to take care of Savannah State Saturday and beat our rivals on the 17th. We do those things, we're playing either in Atlanta December 15th or December 1st in Greensboro, IMHO.

Easier said then done, but it's all mental.

On a semi-positive note the only issues I see at this point are a lack of self-discipline and the oc’s refusal to take what the defense is handing us on a silver platter.

I think Coach Washington knows this too and it seems he tries to address this through practice. I think Coach Barnett eventually came around and fed the rock to our two backs. I would only hope and assume we will give Savannah State a very healthy dose of the run especially if Raynard is kept out of the game next week.

I listen to Tony McRae interview with J Walker yesterday. He asked Tony whats the difference between Broadway and Washington.Tony said Broadway was firm and to the point. While Washington lets his players have rope and do what they want.Tony said he Liked Broadway style with players. This goes back to the Personnel foul flags, a manger can not Party with his staff.

I don’t know if it’s the team that we played yesterday or the offensive line has come around, but for this year we’ve not had this kind of success running the ball (overall). I hope that the offensive line has found its recipe for getting the job done and that it didn’t have any thing to do with the level of competition. The defense as a whole had some struggles for some of the game but they put it together when it counted. Our kicking game was better, but special teams did give up a punt return and It wouldn’t surprise me if that dude don’t run back one several times a season.
