What do you mean by revenue sport? If we charged to attend baseball games , I don’t think we would cover the cost of a ticket taker and security. Most of the fans are family and would be on players guest list. Don’t think it would be much different with the future upgrades to the stadium. A winning team might help but Elon , UNCG and HP don’t seem to be packing the house.

yeah, i don't see basebase becoming a revenue generating sport for us, especially with the stadium being in the condition it is in...

We've had a marketing director vacancy since Carl Hairston left 3 years ago.
We obviously don't care that much about the 'revenue' aspect of our revenue sports.

Where are the Aycock/Dunhill neighbors and the Historic Society? They use to give the City of Greensboro a tough time. I haven't heard a word from them in a long time.

There was basically one old man who represented the Aycock neighborhood and he lost his influence with the city council when the Downtown baseball stadium proved to be a success.

Construction has a process and if things remain as scheduled things should start to happen soon. we just have to trust the process i suppose Trust the process ... back in 2018.

They are using the parking lot as an overflow lot for a track meet. They may do the same for the Junior Olympics. I am saying this to say that they may postpone any construction to avoid public traffic.

Sad thing is that I can pretty much guarantee you that UGA's rebar will not be there this time next week.
They about to show you what real progress looks like.
