I wonder if we still have the $500K grant to add to this project: 4 NC HBCUs to receive $500K+ to preserve historic buildings
One $500,000 grant will be used to rehabilitate World War Memorial Stadium, which was built in 1926 and is the oldest minor-league ballpark in North Carolina, according to a release. It says the project will be used to repair the structural concrete seating desk and install new seating, including the addition of ADA-accessible seating and other safety devices. The NPS says the second $500,000 grant will be used to rehabilitate Vanstory Hall, a residence hall built in 1966. www.wnct.com/on-your-side/school-watch/4-nc-hbcus-to-receive-500k-to-preserve-historic-buildings/

Ownership was officially transferred in February 2022. Plans are under way to make $5 million to $6 million in improvements to the stadium such as new locker rooms, restrooms, press box and seating up to 1,000 fans, with city officials contributing $1.5 million to these efforts.

Is any work scheduled to start tomorrow?
Has A&T solicited any bids for work on World War Memorial Stadium?
