If TSU can afford an indoor facility we can to. I am sure we could find a sponsor or two to help foot some of the bill to add a couple lanes for the track team. We just produced a future Olympian...we need to continue investing in our track program if we want to produce more Olympians. That's the perfect example. Its a bare bones, 70 yards, dressed up barn, but does whats its suppose to do. Very doable by A&T.

Yeah, just sayiby but the Washington Redskins of the NFL have a bubble for an inside practice facility, we don't need it to have all the bells and whistles just indoors, secure, and climate controlled. If its good enough for the NFL should be good enough for an FCS program, just saying.
And regarding the state funds, I believe that's how Corbett was erected and is really under the PE department and NOT athletics because it houses classroom space. Most believe since its the gym it belongs to athletics but it doesnt, to gain use of the body you have to go through the PE dept. The same way I believe both FAMU and VA State put up those nice new digs, they both house classroom space so state funds could be used for construction.
So as long as classroom space is provided and used state funds can be applied to the building of a new facility.

A&T can do it, The High School in Small Town USA that Capel, Drake and Jones came out of has a facilty with a training center and 50 yard indoor practice field.

I'm sure any and all of these things are on the "wish list" but "when" is the big question. And to be honest, I really like how Dr. Martin and the current administration is managing the growth and funding on our campus. You're hearing less about "budget challenges" and more about "successes" recently. If there's one small complaint I have is over the lack of information. I'm sure lots of alums would love to know what facilities are on the University's wish list and their game plan. Like I said, this is a small complaint.

I think you are correct as I have come to Career Fair as a recruiter for my company and the event was held in Corbett; they just cover the floor.

Tennessee State's is nice, has a Ticket Office and classroom space. IF we were to build one, I would hope that our facility would more in line with other facilities in the state (yes, I know they are all FBS Programs). also I hope that the indoor facility would be placed adjacent to Aggie Stadium and a connection is built between the facility and the new complex that is to be built above the horseshoe

I'd love to increase the Gameday/Fan experience at our games. Especially in the Student section, I would like to see more engagement. I like the oversized banner/flags that you usually see in European Soccer and the MLS. I know that some Colleges have them too such as TCU and Grambling. Imagine when the team comes out of the tunnel, and through the band...the students in the horseshoe have an oversized Aggie Pride banner. Lets make it happen! I LIKE THAT!!!

I was directly involved in the planning of FAMU’s basketball facility and it is a PE and convocation/graduation-based facility first. That’s where the funds came from.

At the top of my Christmas list is to permanently endow athletic scholarships. It's not as flashy as facility upgrades, but in the long run that kind of funding is much more important for sustained success.
