A&T - 77 UNCG - 68 Final Playing primarily three guards (Singleton, Hunt, and Abdullah) in the lineup that can handle the ball, shot, and score with Burroughs and Beckford inside makes a big difference. We seem to have found the right combination.

Good win....hopefully it will be a part of the foundation w/new line up that will give us the best chance to win. Being straight up.....UNC-G is not a very good team. 2 of their 3 wins this year came against DIII Greensboro College and DII Chowan College. Also, remember we have beaten them the last 4 times we have played them.
At any rate...glad to get a W.

i'm pleasantly surprised with this win, but not shocked. apparently these guys are now starting to "gel", starting to learn each other better. same for the coaches, they've never coached some of these guys before. coach got to learn a lot of new players, new players got to learn an entire team plus a new coach, and returning players got to learn a lot of new players.
i've only seen a limited amount of the men's play this season, but its clear to me in that short amount of time that this team is far more talented overall than last year's team. i didn't expect us to lose to any d2 or d3 teams, but i wasn't shocked either. i think we'll now see this team begin to establish a team "identity". still has a ways to go, but that process is underway and progress has been made. guys are now probably beginning to understand their "roles" better. collectively, all of this is a process that takes time.
great that we got this win because it builds team confidence and it shows that progress is being made...

I'm glad we won......I was at the game - UNCG is a bad team. Wes Miller will be lucky to make it through the this year. We still need to play a lot better. Teams in the MEAC are better than UNC-G. We're going to have to play a better quality of basketball to succeed in conference. We're winning. We're not a finished product...but a DI win still gives the team a sense they're moving in the right direction.
