Or the kid just made the choice that he wanted to make ! What ever the reason I'm just not impressed by 157 pounds 6 foot quarterback pocket passer are not ! This is college football here not Pop Warner. I can not make myself see a FCS D-1 program even thinking about this kid as a QB at let alone at A&T Hell WTA&M in D-2 would not recruit a quarterback that small with minimal capabilities at best . Time to put on our big boy pants and start recruiting big boys ! Lol, I guess you don't like our current qb? Sent from my SM-N910P using proboards If your talking about Carter, size speed an accurate passer and exceptional runner what about him there is not too like ? Quick had exceptional tangibles, Speed and quickness and a excellent read option runner, although he was not a pocket passer he was adequate enough to fit the Read Option system effectively and was productive. Also on The Kid he I have always had a bad feeling about the way he was promoted in high school by his coaches and if I'm not mistaken his senior year there was a significant drop off in his production from his junior year but if his coaches would had shopped him around and promoted him properly based on his junior year, he may have ended up at Mars Hill like a number of Bunn running backs have and not A&T ! The Kid was on the radar but by having a drop off his senior year a lot of coaches did as they always do did not show much interest! that was the only reason and also a gift and blessing for A&T that he was over looked.Using size is always an excuse that recruiters used to save face! I don't know if a lot of you remember Eagle moss from Brevard North Carolina ! Eagle was not over looked because of his size because his production stage steady through high school ! The Kid was the reincarnation of Eagle but at A&T !

Saabman, I am not an A&T fan nor do I dislike A&T. I have never been on the forum until now. I joined just to respond to your comments about the QB you are criticizing below. If you are talking about Travis Ramseur from Statesville then please let me correct your misinformation or uninformed opinion.
Travis Ramseur has more physical gifts than any QB I have seen in a long time. There is a reason ECU offered him as a sophomore as a QB. I have been watching him since the sixth grade. In addition, I know personally that SEC college coaches have viewed his tape and he has the ability to play at any level of D1 in the country. He was actually slightly over 6 feet and 170 pounds in HS. There are other reasons why other big time schools did not offer, ability is not one of them.
Yes, he went to WSSU. He easily has the ability to be an all american there but it will be up to him if he wants to do that. The question will be if he decides to work to make that happen or doesn't. I promise you he does not have minimal capabilities. Again his physical gifts other than size are exceptional. Arm strength, accuracy, running ability, field vision, ability to make rushers miss are all high D1 level I assure you.
Forgive me if I sound condescending. I normally would not respond to a comment made over a year ago but for some reason I felt the need to respond.

Jimmy : I have no problem with anyone expressing their opinion. especially when they know a specific individual. so it's all gravy no disrespect intended.
