Academic considerations often will thin the herd on signing day. Or the kid just made the choice that he wanted to make ! What ever the reason I'm just not impressed by 157 pounds 6 foot quarterback pocket passer are not ! This is college football here not Pop Warner. I can not make myself see a FCS D-1 program even thinking about this kid as a QB at let alone at A&T Hell WTA&M in D-2 would not recruit a quarterback that small with minimal capabilities at best . Time to put on our big boy pants and start recruiting big boys !

From his film, Tinsley looks more likely to project to the offensive side of the ball at tackle or guard. Has very good foot work, size, upper body balance.

I think we all know Tarik is an exception. Very few and far between. Thats why they are called exceptions. Spotting exceptions is mostly just pure luck or blind faith. Tarik worked out, but way more did not.

I'm talking about DeMarcus Tinsley from Newnan, Georgia.
I think oleschoolaggie is referring to the QB from West Virginia.

He'll be fine with a red shirt year. He has the tools you want but needs to fill out just a bit.

Which kid are ya'll talking about? i was referring the qb that decks liked, travis ramseur froms statesville, nc who apparently signed with wssu. that's who i thought saabman was talking about, dude was only listed at 6 feet (which usually means he's under 6 feet tall) and 165lbs. however, i haven't seen any video on the qb from wv, so i haven't made any comments regarding him...

thanks for the link, maxell! but actually, i’m not slowing down at all. just that i haven’t really had the time, especially now that my referee workload has doubled since we’re now making up a bunch games that were postponed due to the snow. plus, i can’t see hudl videos from work. i can see youtube from work, but not hudl. so that’s why i’ve fallen behind on some of the videos...
