I didn't ask...we all know he needs to work on that. Dez was playing out of position in college. He was one hell of a running back in high school. But I can understand the move for college because of his speed . But I always saw him as a RB.

Sometimes its good enough for high school but doesn't translate well in college. The times I saw him run the ball and his runs after catches he didn't have great vision or lateral movement in my opinion. Great speed, but was easy to tackle before he got going.

Coaches probably tried to get their best two players (mayhew and dez)on the field at the same time.

Coaches probably tried to get their best two players (mayhew and dez)on the field at the same time. This was probably the main reason. He wasn't as good as our best 2 running backs running the ball, but too fast to keep off the field.

Who else worked out during our Pro Day? We had to have a few OL and D. Grant working out for the scouts.
Anyways, Dez will be in somebody's training camp this fall. All he has to do is perfect his punt catching abilities and he will make a squad's 53-man roster. He can work on the pass catching once he makes it to the league.
