What are we trying to be now? Bethune-Cookman. Im sure the kid is good. Its just that I prefer a 6'4 and up type of QB that can see the entire field.

Rico could have done more than he did its just that as we already know, we didn't have a good coach on staff.

How tall was Connell? How tall is Armanti Edwards?
Thanks.
I'd prefer a kid that can win some games and not run around 20 yards behind the line of scrimmage, throw interceptions on a frozen rope, or run with the ball like it's a loaf of bread.
I wonder how many great qbs we would ignore a year if we only recruited "6'4" guys that can see the whole field?" Any guy that size simply is not going to be a good qb (like Rico) because he will be a project. Otherwise, a major would scoop him up before we got a chance to sniff him. Of course, maybe we could get him after he gets arrested, fails a drug test or never sees the field and wants to transfer down.
We need players and coaches. Not sizes.

I see what you mean DOOMS its just that size has always impressed me. I was absolutely in heaven Rico's first two seasons, but just like you probly I wanted to kill him that 05 season, espcecially homecoming. In my opinion he cost us that game against Del st. He just looked so inept in certain situations. I was about ready to go out there and quarterback the team myself lol. But as long as Fobbs feels what he brings in can win im satisfied with that.

What I would like to see happen is for us to find a guy, build him, and make him our starter for 4-5 years. Thats been the problem with the program. Absolutely no consistency. You think we will be able to do that with McKenzie's system? Does anybody know if DC will be in Spring Practice?

After watching the Aggies for so many years size means nothing. My homeboy Connell Maynor was what 6 even...forget size, I want a QB like Hooker or Maynor, that can get the job done and take control!!!!
I will not say anything bad about the current QB's! I hope they do better this year!!

We need a baller. Period! F-size. As long as he aint 5'9 or nothing like that then i dont care. As long as he dont throw interceptions out to the flat.

How did he look? Fully recovered or a step or two behind? We could really use him this season.

DC = Defensive coordinator, not Derrick Chancellor.
