This loss has hurt me so bad I can't even look at our Durham local paper plus my wife is earing everything NCCU. I think once Morgan gets knocked out I will be okay. I see how those Eagles felt two years ago in BB when we beat them in the MEAC tourney.

About 363 days from now. Even if we go undefeated in the regular season, I won't feel right until we avenge this loss to Central.

What hurts even worse is the implications of what could have happened if we had won. We could have represented the MEAC in the playoffs with short travel to Richmond and possibly avenged our 1 point loss to CCU. Trust they did not want to see us again. But with all of the mistakes that happened in the game, it was not meant to be this year.

There shouldn't be pain. We all should just have the realization that while Aggie Football has come a long way in 4 years, that we are nowhere close to being where we need to be to dominate the MEAC and to become a FCS Power. Cohen's fumble, while being big, wasn't the deciding factor in the team losing. Along with the 3 other loses we had, we did not play a full sixty minutes of football. Our coaching staff also didn't call a great game for a full 60 minutes and be properly prepared for all situations.
We have to take these kinds of lumps as a team now so we can become dominant later.
This team will be back in the gym working hard preparing for Spring Football, being led by Cohen and Quick.

Since I am self-employed and work out of my home, I can virtually disappear from public for a few months. I've already gotten some calls from NCCU grads but with caller ID I have avoided their harassment. As for as how long will it hurt, well it stopped hurting during my long drive home from Durham. I'm more angry now and cannot wait to play them again. Unfortunately our men's basketball team isn't going to help us get any payback so we will have to wait until October 21, 2015.

Done deal for me; even though this was a big loss, its over and done with now and that fact can't be changed. I know that we had the better team and should have won this game by big numbers and I really hated to see us fall especially to them. Come on my brothers, lets move on and remember how much that we enjoyed the ride this season, and let the birds enjoy their day, but also know that we'll be back (it won't be close).

Rivalry games are supposed to hurt. In the long run, it's a good thing. Aggie Stadium will be electric next year for the players, students and alumni. Remember this feeling when there is another discussion about the Big South or the CAA...

I was disappointed ,but for me everything went back to normal when I went back to work this morning . I try not to let things that I have no control over dominate my life . I'm a huge Panther fan ,but I don't let their play get me upset anymore either .

I just became able to hold down my food. But, I'm still proud of everybody involved with the football program. They brought so much excitement to the Aggie family this fall. Hadn't been that way in long time so, I'll be okay, I hope my brothers here will be okay as well.

How long will the pain last??? It depends on who you're asking - ask the seniors on the football team. They may say for eternity. For me, it is until we win an MEAC football title and have a chance to compete in the FCS playoffs. NCCU, SCSU, Howard......I could care less who beat us Saturday; it's the consequences from the loss that sting the most to me - not who beat us. I hate seeing potential (especially good Aggie potential) not get fully realized.
Not to be pessimistic, but there's absolutely no guarantee we may get a golden opportunity like this again. Key players get hurt; coaches leave/retire; new coaches come in the conference and change the MEAC landscape. Ain't nothing in the future guaranteed.
