A&T was the SSU of the MEAC a few years ago. Except for fb haven't they done as well as other MEAC schools. Do we really want to beat them 84-0? Bethune-Cookman laid into us to a tune of 77-7 on ESPNU one year during the Fobbs Error. that was a "revenge game" because bill hayes had hung 73 points on shine's bcu team several years before that. everybody knows hayes and shine literally "despised" each other and before hayes was let go, a&t and bcu had a "very heated rivalry" (primarily between the coaches and players) but not the fans...

How many A&T players will make the trip? If this was a home then all walk-on will be playing in the game midway through the 4th quarter. I think this will be a fun day for the offensive line because midway through the 3rd quarter it is not about passing block but just straight up run block. I think the defense challenge is to get another shut out.

MEAC rules state you can only carry 55 players when on the road for conference games.

Wilson wants tenacious Tigers against Aggies
11/13/2014 1:40:00 PM
SAVANNAH, Ga. - Savannah State football head coach Earnest Wilson III has challenged his players to demonstrate the same intensity against North Carolina A&T on Saturday that they showed against Howard University last Saturday. SSU (0-10 overall, 0-7 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) will play North Carolina A&T (8-2, 5-1 MEAC) at 2 p.m. at T.A. Wright Stadium. The game will be radio-broadcast on WHCJ 90.3 FM. It will be the final home game for SSU's seniors. "I liked our intensity for once," Wilson said of SSU's performance in a 51-21 loss to Howard at T.A. Wright Stadium. "You could hear the crowd screaming "Ooh" and "Aah" from the hits that we were delivering. Nobody was backing down. I think our kids are finally making their minds up that you're not going to push us around anymore. … If you come into our area, we're going to fight. And pretty soon, that's going to lead to wins." North Carolina A&T is coming off a 45-0 victory over Morgan State last Saturday in Greensboro, N.C. The Aggies are tied for first place in the MEAC with Bethune-Cookman and South Carolina State. North Carolina A&T is 1-0 in the series against SSU. Last season, the Aggies beat the Tigers, 41-14, in Greensboro, N.C. "We're trying to win the game," Wilson said. "We gave them a run for the money last year even though they pulled away. Last year, teams kind of blew us out. This year, at least by halftime we've been competitive. Hopefully, next year we'll win some games." SSU's final game is Nov. 22 against Football Bowl Subdivision member Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. IMHO, we should have three (3) goals for the Savannah State game: - Offense to score 40 points;
- Defensive and special teams shutout;
- No injuries;

The man is trying to spin it and find a way to motivate his team for this game and get them out from under the mindset that they are overmatched and down 21-0 coming out the locker room to start the game. For the SSU fans, those are code words for "they can't possibly beat us as bad as they did last year."
To counter that, we need to impose our will on them early and often as to take away all hope.
