selling beer (not hard liquor) at home games might help, though i know that's a very controversial subject. some of the white schools do it "on campus" like louisville, syracuse, and west virginia. others who play off campus also do it like miami, uconn, and temple. but i know its controversial, yet at the same time, those schools are making "big dollars" selling beer at their home games and most of them are not reporting any increase in behavior problems due to beer sells. in fact, some of these schools have "increased" attendance at their games after they began to sell beer.
i don't know if the state of north carolina prohibits beer sells at college games or not, but i don't know of any north carolina colleges that sell beer, so its probably illegal...

Getting fans drunk is definitely not the answer. And moving students, the band or the reserve fans ain't the answer either. There are two things that "might" work...specific chants or actions requested by the PA announcer or give out noise makers. my voice is noise makers.

hey, nobody is talking about getting "drunk". most folk can't get "drunk" off of beer anyway. just a thought, not advocating.
heck, and we need to be doing more than just one "aggie pride" chant at the games. the pa announcer only does it maybe once per game, or twice at the most. don't wanna wear it out, but that's easily the "loudest" chant our crowd will cheer. maybe it should be a tradition after every touchdown we score (whenever we're winning) just like the cannon fire...

Noise makers is the most obvious answer. Beer would be a bad idea because then you'd have to worry about what might happen after consuming the beer. I know this is mainly talking about at Aggie Stadium, but noise makers should also be given out at basketball games. Make teams regret having to play at Corbett

Make teams regret having to play at Corbett I think that the sale of beer at Athletic venues would have more of an impact on the gameday profit than that of the Gameday experience...but Im all for it

Make teams regret having to play at Corbett I got some feedback from Compliance: Noisemakers at Corbett are a no-go, per MEAC rules. I'm still waiting on word at Aggie Stadium. There was an issue when thunder-sticks were used during the NCCU game last year. Stay tuned...

OK.... the MEAC rules are only prohibitions at basketball games... the NCCU issue was at a basketball game.... none on noisemakers at football games....
So.... bring your cowbells, thunder-sticks, clapping hands, etc to Aggie Stadium.... and your voice!!!

We can use cowbells during MEAC games? The Cowbell is the symbol for most Aggie teams that I no of ( check the history of Aggie football symbols ) From Texas A&M, Mississippi A&M ( now Mississippi State) the cowbell has been the staple. Why not the Cowbell for A&T.?

Shoot. Let's pool some cash together and start selling cowbells at games next year. I would love to have a blue&gold cowbell with an A&T logo on it.

I'm checking into the cost to get licensed A&T cowbells made by an alum in Greensboro.
