The kid needs to work on his rout running. Because at the next level your not just going to blow by people with just speed. It would have been nice to see how he handleš a press by the DB. How he getš. off the line with the DB in is face which is what he will see next year. With that being said down the road he could are may turn out to be a great WO.

i think he looks okay, but i think he'd have a hard time beating out the wr's we already have. that's no knock on him, but we're just deep at the wr position now. i mean, we've got a world class speed guy in dez lawrence. plus, there's xavier griffin, "jo jo" span, denzel keyes, darren bullock, and gator's boy mike weaver who ain't no slouch either. and what about the kid from burlington i believe that coach broadway picked up late? he's a stud too!
so i see "redshirt" in the cards for this guy which would probably be a good thing. he'll still be around by the time our young true freshmen qb's mature and hit stride. 4.45 speed ain't bad, coach broadway is picking up a lot of guys who have speed to burn. man, our future really looks bright. we're beginning to build the kind of "depth" that scsu and bcu has...

With new Receiver coach Chip Hester (and he's very good at what he does) now working with the receivers this coming summer and the large volume of new incoming talent and two experienced juniors at the QB position, don't be surprised if you see Bustle change things considerably with a more intricate vertical passing game especially with 3 young athletic pass catching tightends now available who can stretch the field.
A little birdie tells me we are still going to run the football first, but for those who want more passing balance, you are going to finally get your wish this season. I think the new change in the NCAA rules allowing coaches to be able to workout with these kids in the summer will make a huge difference for us offensively.

Thanks Aggie One for that insight...I believe we have the coaching staff to really develop our offensive players this year. It will be fun watching this team this year!

I bet we are going to have a duel QB attack unless one decides to step up.
But i love the hands on this receivable not great speed. Sometimes speed is not always everything on third and long where you just trying to pick a first down. We need a QB that can throw a soft but accurate short pass and a receiver that has good hands to grab the ball among defenders around. Good pick up.
One of my biggest issue I have with broadway teams not being able on a consistent basis pickup first downs. If you want to be a great team you got to be able to pick up first down in critical third or second down. Broadway even admit that is a issue that he must address.

We needed a "hands" receiver. We haven't had one since Miles. He fits that bill. Catches the slant well. Outside of that I wasn't overly impressed with his after the catch speed. I would have to time that 4.45 myself. But I think he has a place with the Aggies and can be productive.

Looks like 4.6 football speed. But I'll take it with good hands.

Until we learn how to use the TE productively we will continue too have problems . As the saying "TE is the QB's best friend" but for A&T the TE looks to be just a blocker. More use of the TE more 1st downs and it also opens up the running and passing game.
