#4 against the pass last year. An all meac selection each year as DBs coach sounds like a pretty good philosophy. I hope there's something more to his firing.

He did a damn good job considering we couldn't hardly get any pass rush for the last couple of years. It can't be performance related.

I'm surprised to hear he chose us over Wake. Or did he?

Is there some NCAA rule regulating when off-season conditioning may begin?
Our season ended Nov. 20. Why did we wait to Jan. 3 to start our off-season conditioning?

He was OC at FAMU & JMU and is presently reciever coach. I stand corrected.

Then again we could bring in Norm Chow to coordinate our offense and it wouldn't make one damn bit of difference so long as our offensive line play does not improve.
The o-line took two giant steps back this year. If Coach Berry can't get better play out of this unit he should be shown the door.

There's a rumor that Kent Schoolfield, former HC of FVSU, will be our new OC. I know that institutionally FVSU has always prided themselves on their Defense. In fact, they claim that they are the originators of the name "Blue Death."
After reading his Bio, he has never coordinated an offense in his life. I don't know why we couldn't hire a proven offensive coordinator at the D-II or D-III level. In any event, he can't be worse than the last OC we had. So welcome Coach Schoolfield.

There's so much bad news coming out of Tallahassee that you can't read too much into it.

I have faith in Renick. If Renick says that we need another direction then that is all I need. Renick is the best thing that ever happened to A&T.

I read that entire interview with a great big smile on my face. Great work 'Thrilla.
I really hope Hicks continues to get a "fair-shake" from the 49ers. The brother is bad. All he needs is an opportunity.

My Alma Mater Dudley HS is continuing to roll. Next week we face So. Durham. The same team that put us out of the playoffs last year by a score of 5-0.
This year the defense is still strong, but for the first time in a long time we have a balanced offensive attack. I'm predicting Dudley to advance to the state championship by a margin of 28-7.

4-3 in the MEAC was unacceptable to Coach Lavan. Here we are 1-6 in the conference with an offense that ranks near last in every major statistical category and Small has yet to pull the trigger.
He better do something soon.

Yeah he had a superb day. I'm glad for him because prior to last Sat. this season had been a dissapointing one for somone of his talent.
