I like the stickers on the wall. Other than that its not terribly impressive or different. Very impressive coming from what they had. Better than 90% of HBCU locker rooms. Former Aggie employee Shelly Davis had a lot to do with the locker room transformation.

Not a bad job with very limited space. HU is making strides folks. They had a big time Junior day last weekend.

Capel is not a legit 4.37. But if you going to put a time out there might as well make it a little faster rather than slower.

Check out this ESPN article from 2013. Times have changed... www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/9519180/behind-scenes-college-football-latest-uniform-craze"There were plenty of questions," McCoy said, "but at the end of the day, I sat there and thought, 'This is where the game is going.' Your entire presentation is based around the helmet. It represents the school, but it was the most boring part of the uniform." "We're in a day and age right now where fashion in general has an impact on our society," Washington coach Steve Sarkisian said. "We wake up every morning, we try to decide what we're going to put on, and I think that's no different in football." About 50 college programs this fall, in an extension of the latest arms race to look good and attract recruits, will wear helmets that feature HGI's work in collaboration with the schools and their apparel providers

Why change something that isn’t broken...we got one of the best looks in all of HBCU sports. Great colors, clean easily recognizable logos...what is to be gained here? Are they doing this just because they can...or is there a reason. Let BCU be the Oregon or the MEAC, we should try to be the Alabama. New helmet/uniform combinations won’t add a thing to our win column. This is an easy one...
It's all about recruiting! You wear what the kids like not what the fans prefer. Kids these days are into those things and believe it or not it does have an effect on your program/recruiting. Why do you think the kids like putting on the jerseys and gloves for photoshoots on their visits to different campuses. Ask Carolina if wearing the Jordan brand has helped their football program land recruits. The difference in quality between the Russell Gear that we had vs the Nike gear isn't even close.
Does anyone remember 2015 when nccu came out of the locker room after warm ups in brand metallic silver helmets..? I recall hearing members of our team talking about how nice they were before and after the game... This is also the same year we showed up to the Celebration bowl with players having raggedy paint on our helmets ( some hade matte blue look, others had shiny blue with gold specs)
My point is we need to do better if we want to continue to attract todays student athletes. Look Good Play Good! I want the guys to be comfortable and confident in what the compete in.

The new uniforms will have mixed reviews...I'm good as long as the players and the recruits like them!

We WILL have a new helmet/uniform concept this fall in addition to our current uniform combinations(according to my sources).

Golden Delight is doing just fine. I had the pleasure of judging tryouts this past January. Things are looking good!

check out former Defensive Coach Keith Henry's son. Henry was a six-year assistant at Ohio University under Jim Grobe prior to joining the Deacons, had a three-year stint at North Carolina A&T and spent single years at Charleston Southern and Gardner-Webb. Headed to Clemson www.hudl.com/profile/5398017/KJ-Henry

The coaches measured/weighed the kids when the came in on visits. I don't trust those internet numbers anyway.

Oh okay...that's not "THE" Hillside High School from Durham but, good pick up. Stuckey is a playmaker! I like the pickup!
When asked who he was most surprised to sign, Coach Washington simply answered "Stuckey". It seems as if Coach and I have the same eye for talent Thrilla. As I stated before, this kid is a playmaker, a true football player. Apparently he had some offers from some FBS schools. I like what we are building in Aggieland!

In addition to Ohsixrain question, Tevaughn Higgins is listed as an athlete. Anyone have any insight as to where he might play? Coach mentioned H back (Trey Scott position). I believe he will be dynamic in that role.
