Last I check you were Aggie Born, Aggie bred and when you die-Aggie----, you hopefully get the point, college athletics at HBCU's is no longer a fair weather fan situation, I am concern about a lot of bad things , but in the end its still my school, my pride is bigger than winning a few games against teams that can't even play competitive outside their division (FCS), so just remember the school is always where you got your paper and it is who taught you how to make paper, for example - maybe TA Mclendin from NCSU could have benefited from larger hands or playing some place where someone was concerned about his life not just how many yards or fumbles he gets,

I guess with a record like this one coming in, we should expect the results we're getting:
THE ILLUSTRIOUS CAREER OF LEE A. FOBBS, THE HIGHEST PAID AND LOWEST ACHIEVING COACH IN NC A&T FOOTBALL HISTORY WITH THE MOST IRON-CLAD AND INCENTIVE LADEN CONTRACT IN MEAC HISTORY.
All FOUR winning seasons he was associated with in the 17 years as a position coach are placed in bold for ease of reading.
Louisiana-Monroe: Defensive Line 1.) 1989- 1990: 5-5-1
Tulane; Wide Receivers 1.) 1990-1991: 4-7-0 2.) 1991-1992: 1-10-0 3.) 1992-1993: 2-9-0 4.) 1993-1994: 4-8-0
LSU; Defensive Ends Coach 1.) 1994-1995: 4-7-0
Southern Mississippi; Offensive Tackles and Tight Ends 1.) 1995-1996: 6-5-0
Minnesota; Outside Linebackers 1.) 1996-1997: 4-7-0
Baylor; Defensive Tackles 1.) 1997-1998: 2-9-0 2.) 1998-1999: 2-9-0 3.) 1999-2000: 1-10-0 4.) 2000-2001: 2-9-0
Alabama; Running Back 1.) 2001-2002: 7-5-0 2.) 2002-2003: 10-3-0
Texas A&M; Running Back 1.) 2003-2004: 4-8-0 2.) 2004-2005: 7-5-0 3.) 2005-2006: 5-6-0
NCA&T; Head Coach 1.) 2006-2007, 0-11 2.) 2007-2008, 0-11 again

One can interpret those stats as the person being very familiar with the south geographically for recruiting purposes. They must have some confirmed contacts in that area.
Rather than us spending all of our time being critical, we should be spending that emotion and phyisical time on finding good quality players that will come and play for us. Some of you act as though we can go out here and get top 50 players like it ain't nothing to it. You better take a reality pill fast. The same thing goes for coaches. What good, quality, experienced at this level, and with a winning record would come? The only people that can turn this thing around is US.
I'm optomistic because we put points on the board. I'm concerned about both sides of the ball due to us being to inconsistant in our play. In 06 we were no where near this level. Give the man a chance to fulfill the contract.
Let's get out there and sell our programs! I want to see atleast 25 to 30 recruits on signing day. We should all be calling our high schools, and people we know back home inquiring about players. Asking if a "T" rep has been there to look. If not, you need to flood their emails with information (quality). Have those kids give you a copy of their tapes (DVDs) so you can send it in, or put in somebodies hand.
Let's go baby, let's go! MAKE IT HAPPEN!

If you interpret 12 losing seasons out of 17 recruiting goodness, I got some land in South Jersey to sell ya.
Who acts like we can get top 50 players? And would you really send somebody you care about to play for this cat? We need somebody that can take bottom 50 players and make top 50 players out of them. There's not one person on staff that can do that.
There are plenty of good, quality coaches that would come. Most are d-3 and d-2. Guess where the guy that put about fifty on a Del State team that nobody in the conference could beat came from? D-3.
I'd love to give this man a chance to fulfill the contract, as a p.e. coach or special assistant to the Chancellor. No way in hell I want him on the sideline anymore.
Now I don't begrudge you for being so gung-ho. I just can't pretend I have any confidence in the abilities of Coach Fobbs and company and I don't plan on starting.

Let's go, Let's go baby, let's make it happen!!!! Hell, that sounds like Fobbs. From what I hear that is all he does on the sideline is cheer, not coach.

They are really going to have to beat the payment to get some good kids. With that being said they are going to have to "coach-up" a lot of kids, but I dont think this staff has that capability to do that.
I got a question for you Gator. what happens if we are in about 6 games next year, but only win 3 and end up 3-8. If he goes 3-8 with a majority upperclassmen team of his own recruits then what? Will you come over to the dark side after that? What record are you expecting out of next years team?

My hope is that we win every game. With good qb play and blocking upfront, we can. Now, realisticly I expect us to win atleast 5 games out of 11 or 12.
If the defensive coordinator is playing #7 (kid from Cali) at DB, we're toast.

We get NO pressure on the QB, that is why he looks so bad on certain plays.........
