Chancellor's Message: Athletics To the North Carolina A&T State University Family
We have experienced a very difficult football season this year. The review of all athletic programs is well under way. There is considerable room for improvement in all athletics at A&T. I fully support our football program.
A&T appreciates your consistent and continued support for our athletic programs and our student athletes.
Stanley F. Battle Chancellor

So which one is gone first? 'Cause if he's actually reviewing the athletic programs and not just giving lip service I can think of two people that would never survive real scrutiny.

Where did this come from? Was it posted on the school website?
Whoever wrote this statement also probably came up with the Davinci Code because there are a lot of different ways some of those sentences can be interpreted.
In my opinion, the fact that he even felt the need to release this statement does not bode well for Dee Todd.

BTW: I hope he does not "fully support" A&T's football program like he supported Coppin State's baseball program.

Thrilla, check with North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Office of University Relations. The message was sent to alumni chapter presidents.

The message was sent to anyone who is registered to receive AggiE-News letters from University Relations.
That message had less sincerity and was vaguer than my first conversation with Coach Fobbs...so I don't expect anything huge to happen soon. If it happens, I would be highly shocked.

For him to send this out says there is talk among the leadership of the university about the athelitic department, and who is responsible for the athelitic department? Dee Todd; I believe this is the end of the road for her. He is not going to give out any information in a note about what his plans are; but the statement "The review of all athletic programs is well under way" says it all.

Oh snap, I just checked my e-mail and there it is.
You really don't send that type of e-mail unless you plan to make some moves. If he wasn't going to can some folks then he should've kept his fingers off the keyboard.

I hope you all are right, but I am not as optimistic. It sounds like you all are insinuating that Dee Todds' job is on the line. But if her job is on the line so is Fobbs as well, and your buyout just ballooned. How are we going to cover those expenses?
