Dee Todd's Quote:"I felt that in the scheme of things I wanted a football coach who could take us to the I-AA championship game and win it," Todd said. "I didn't want someone who could just win the MEAC title."

""""Fobbs doesn't want to take long to turn around the Aggies' football fortunes.""""""
"I'd like to take a bunch of wins right now if I can get them," he said with a laugh. "Being a realist, we're going to approach it one game at a time. We'll coach our kids to the best of our ability. If it happens early for us, we'll take it."
--The best of this guys ability is HORRIBLE ... Impeach him !!

AD talking to Doug Williams during the process of picking A&T's head football coach in December 2005:
I said ‘Ok, let’s rank these names and you tell me in order of priority who you think would work best in our program.’ And each time Coach Fobbs kept coming to the top.

And another damn thing....WHAT THE HELL DOES DOUG WILLIAMS KNOW ABOUT OUR PROGRAM? WHY IN THE HELL WOULD YOU ASK SOMEBODY WHO HAS NEVER HAD ANY AFFILIATION WITH AGGIE FOOTBALL AND ATHLETICS TO RECOMMEND SOMEBODY WHO WILL "WORK BEST IN OUR PROGRAM". AINT THAT YOUR DAMN JOB AS THE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR AND NOT THE JOB OF THE FORMER SUPER BOWL MVP?!?!?!? Doug Williams wrecked our program because Todd didn't know what the hell she was doing and deferred all decisons on the future of our head coaching position to a dude who could probably give a rats a$$ on the future of our program because he was in no way invested in the success or failure of Fobbs. She chose him because Doug said pick my homeboy. WHAT KIND OF sheeet IS THAT!!! IF A&T IS GOING TO FIRE SOMEBODY THEN FIRE HER a$$ FIRST!!!

Special to the news & Record Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007 3:00 am South Carolina State 51 N.C. A&T 7 CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The N.C. A&T Aggies will have to wait until next year to end the nation's longest losing streak.
South Carolina State's 51-7 victory over the Aggies on Saturday at Johnson Hagood Stadium in the Lowcountry Classic capped another 0-11 season for second-year coach Lee Fobbs and extended the Aggies' losing streak to 27 games.
"It has been real tough on these young men," Fobbs said. "I don't want to keep saying we're a young football team because we've had time on the grass, but it's all in the process of rebuilding and getting back where we want to get. It's growing pains right now."
The Aggies, who finished 0-8 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, have experienced some heartbreaking losses this season, including four by margins of a touchdown or less.
This was not such a game.
The Bulldogs (7-4, 6-2 MEAC) dominated from start to finish.
South Carolina State senior quarterback Cleve McCoy threw for 134 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 95 yards on a day when the Bulldogs finished with 632 yards in total offense to 181 for the Aggies.
McCoy finished his career with a school-record 6,149 yards in total offense.
The 632 yards in total offense were the most allowed in N.C. A&T history.
South Carolina State sophomore running back Will Ford rushed for a single-game school record of 322 yards
"Ford is a good athlete, but we didn't tackle well," Fobbs said. "We didn't play the kind of football we've been playing all year long. We've been playing better than we played today."
For a moment late in the first half, the Aggies looked like they might make a close game of it.
N.C. A&T trailed 20-0 when Brandon Colbert intercepted a McCoy pass and returned it 54 yards to the South Carolina State 30.
Two plays later, Chaz Truesdale scored on a 6-yard run, and A&T cut the Bulldogs' lead to 20-7 with 4:51 to play in the half.
But on South Carolina State's ensuing possession, Ford scored on a 76-yard run, helping the Bulldogs take a 27-7 lead into halftime.
With the Bulldogs leading 27-7 at the half and 37-7 after three quarters, South Carolina State coach Buddy Pough said he had no problem in letting his players pursue their records in such a game.
"We were in touch with our people upstairs," Pough said. "They let us know. If the game had been a tighter game, I would not have been so inclined. But it was one of those situations where it wasn't that big a deal and we could play and try to get both of them their records."
For the Aggies, who had been competitive in their previous two games, it was a tough way to close the season.
"We're taking our lumps right now, but I'm a little disappointed in the way we performed today," Fobbs said. "Close doesn't win. We all know that. We've just got to get back to work and continue to move in the same direction we're moving, just faster and quicker."
