Aggie clt, thanks for the info. I realize this is not confirmed yet but it's nice to have. Now I can start making plans to travel to Kent, Ohio. I'm sure lots of other Aggies will also want to start making plans. If we want to get fans to attend games we have to create more buzz. We need to start promoting next season's games now.

Man I hope they keep that Sept 24 as an open date, that could be a brutal stretch. But generally, I like this schedule, I will see A&T a minimum of twice this year. I wonder if that is Howard Homecoming.

This is still a draft. I have a funny feeling that ESPN will move one of our October home games to Thursday night when the television schedule is released in July/August. We will see.

We will see. well, i hope our natural grass turf won’t look all “torn up” and “dead” on tv like it did on espnu last year. i mean, it bothers me that we’re on “international tv” and we show the world that we don’t give a darn about how we portray our university to the rest of america. all that “brown” grass just doesn’t look good. we need to put our best foot forward whenever we’re on “international tv”...

I agree 100% Oleschoolaggie and I dont want to hear the "we dont have the money birds starting to sing"....Everything is not about money if we cant keep the green then spray the middle of the field put it in the budget how much can it be a couple of grand if that.......

If Winston Salem becomes the Labor Day game, this would be one of the best schedules in a long time.

John Dell from the W-S Journal said a few months back that WSSU returning to A&T's schedule won't happen until 2018 at the earliest as the Rams already have their opponents lined up for 2016 & 2017. Their chancellor is on record as saying he wants the game so we will see. I have a funny feeling (again) that this game won't happen until 2019 - the next year we are able to schedule 12 games - if it happens at all.
I hate to beat a dead horse, but if we haven't learned anything else about our championship season, it is that strength of schedule matters! As much as I would like for us to whip on the Rams annually, it would sicken me if we came across a tiebreaker scenario again and we would be left out of the Celebration Bowl (which is here until at least 2020) or FCS playoffs - all because we thrashed WSSU and lost to one (or two) FBS schools.
Maybe we can scrimmage WSSU annually in the Spring Game...(LOL)

It has been suggested that Power Five FBS schools scrimmage FCS schools for a fairly large payday ($250,000 or so) during the spring and solely play other FBS schools during the regular season. We shall see what happens.

We shall see what happens. Why would they do that? Mostly to save their strength of schedule during the regular season but still help out FCS schools with decent paydays. I believe that this is being pushed by the Big Ten Conference. I actually heard about this over a year ago. www.saturdaydownsouth.com/sec-football/freeze-suggests-outside-opponents-future-spring-games/

When I spoke to the chancellor about the Winston game he was not interested but he said he would leave it to the AD to make the decision.
