What do we need to do to protect this lead?
I say keep throwing on first down and attack those scrub azz cornerbacks Howard has.
I would also threaten to pull the scholarships of any player who fumbles. I would not let Miller throw a pass in the middle of the field. Just outs and deep bombs.

He didn't make any adjustments second half Howard scored on their first possession and 2 more times after that. Obviously Fiasco Fobbs(I love that name) thought he could just do the same stuff the entire 2nd half.

Aggie Monster- What adjustment should he have made. After Howard scored on the opening drive in the 3rd quarter. The defense stopped them 3 times in a row. The only thing I question Fobbs is not getting any pressure on the QB. The Howard QB made some clutch plays. Let give the defense some credit in the first half. Twice Howard had the ball first and goal and could not score a TD. It took a fourth down for Howard to score a TD after 1st and goal on the one in the third qtr.

Those fumbles were not forced fumbles. Missed handoffs and bobbled snaps. Howard killed themselves in the first half.
I'm talking offensive adjustments. We ran the same plays we ran the first half thinking we could do the same stuff and score another 20 points. Come one, Our first drive was good and one other drive was decent. After that we scored on a "Gotcha b*tch" pass play and a QB scramble. Neither of which require a lot of planning.
Defense played OK, but once Howard cut their own mistakes out we couldn't stop them.

The only thing I question Fobbs is not getting any pressure on the QB. And that my friend made the difference in the game. We let up on the pressure that was causing their sorry a$$ quaterback to spray it all over the field. You dont let up on the pressure of a sorry a$$ qb who has been out of sync all game who only has a few minutes to win a ballgame. I have no clue why they called off the pressure. Even the commentators said they couldn't understand that decision either. Maybe the team was getting tired or something which is a conditioning issue that means they were not prepared well by guess who.....their coaches.

The defense was on the field for 38 minutes in this game. They were exhausted. That's why there was no pressure on the quarterback.
