I think the MEAC will hand down some suspensions..... NCCU tried to start a riot...... There needs to be a rule about coming on to another teams 50 yard line and doing shyt like that...... If a rule is established it will solve stupid stuff like this from happening.. H. Miller is crazy, he could have gotten hurt real bad but he did what he felt like he had to do...........

The police did the only thing they could to stop the post game melee, pull out the pepper spray. I doubt there will be any suspensions from the governing body because NCCU is not part of the MEAC, and is considered an independent. The administrations of both schools were very upset. We will just have to wait and see if there is any real fall out. Of course the AM edition reported the post game activities. If you want to see pictures of the "scuffle" visit the N-R: www.news-record.com/apps/pbcs.dll/articleAID=/20070923/NRSTAFF/70923362

From what i've heard, NCCU was planning on doing that stomp throughout the game. They planned on doing that at halftime and the players that were to instigatet it informed the other players to keep their helmets strapped up because they knew what was goiing to happen.

I was right there on the field when everything went down. The cop from Central was out of line spraying that mess. He made everything worse from the start by taking that action. The Coaches and other cops on the field were trying to break everything up. That is when Dumbo the Cop wants to spray mace everywhere as you see in the pics on the News and Record. I told the cop that he was caught on camera in the wrong and he explain that it was his duty to protect Central's coach Rison. I told him he should have sprayed the mace on the players from Central to get them back.

I wondered why he was only spraying A&T players.

i got to the stadium at 5:15 for warm-ups... when nccu's lineman joined the team on the field one of central's coaches was chanting stuff to get the ole adrenalin going you know... then he reard back & yelled " who's house??" & the players answered with "our house"..."who's house??".... "our house"... this went on for about 5mins... then they switched to other chants... just to piss an opponent off... but if we had won all that trash talk would have made nccu look stupid.... it was very entertaining i must admit....

I saw and heard that stuff too. But one lesson the team, students and all Aggies must learn from this game is that we must hold our heads high and not sink to the level of our protagonists. As hard as it was at that point in time, we should have remained disciplined and just walked with our heads held high, not even acknowledging them.
I believed that was a microcosm of the game as a whole. We just were not disciplined with all of those penalties we had.

Dont blame our guys at all for this one. NO ONE should stomp your logo. It's the highest form of disrespect in football and NCCU has no class for allowing it to happen. Coaches didn't stop it and knew that it was coming. Win with some class. Even Central alumn was saying how disrespectful that was and shouldn't have been allowed by the NCCU coaching staff.

Thats a high form of disrespect but that does not mean we sink to their level and ruin the chance to salvage our season or get hurt (HERB!). Just suck it up and be motivated to whip every team that comes to this stadium. And take it back to '03 and PLANT THE FLAG IN DURHAM NEXT YEAR!!!

Ya'll same folks that say they should have walked away would more than likely call the team a bunch of punks right now if they actually did just walk away. Like monster said it's just "Man Law".

A bad analogy but...
If them kids in Jena had walked away people would be calling them punks...
but they wouldn't be in jail neither. You can pick your nose and you can pick your battles. If we ain't want them stomping on the logo like some unkempt coons we should've won the game, period.

I got to admit.... central stomp on the dog was unneccessary I can't blame the players for what they did. Soemtimes you have to man up I remember hearing about the time A&T planted a flag at mid field at BCC after a win. The BCC went off It's manhood issue...anyway...the team needs to funnel the aggression toward Norfolk State. We need to come up and represent on ESPN U

"Manhood" doesn't involve putting us on national news in a bad light for the umpteenth time. At least that wasn't how my daddy raised me up.
Especially as Black men, we have to learn to control our emotions. It's expected for us to do stupid isht like this. I'm surprised some of you aren't bothered by the fact that college students have pictures of police spraying them with pepper spray over some got damn dirt.

They planned on doing that at halftime and the players that were to instigatet it informed the other players to keep their helmets strapped up because they knew what was goiing to happen. The only reason NCCU would have done that is if it had been a blowout by halftime. NCCU hasn't come to the realization that they are not that good. They are still living in the past of being BCF Champs last year. Since we were 0-19, they thought they could run all over us. And then they were shaking in their boots those last few seconds!
