There is no way we are going to get even 5,000 people to come out to the game Saturday if we are charging $25 for general admission.
We need to make an announcement on ncataggies.com and WNAA 90.1 FM by the end of business on Wednesday that all general admission tickets for the VUL game are now just $10.
I can understand coming out to watch a gloried spring game on a nice September evening for $10. But it would be very hard for a causal fan to dig in their pocket and pay $25 in the middle of a recession to see this kind of matchup.
Maybe when conference starts, but not now.

Did you all notice that all the panels at the stadium were all sold out? I was told that they lowered the price for the panels. If this is so then it was about time. Back to the game! I feel that we might have a better crowd at saturday's game, especially if the weather is nice. Tickets for this game should not be over $15.00, at least for general admission. I know that they are giving away free tickets to groups of kids.

The sold out scoreboard panel is not quite what it seems.
I will discuss that later in the private forum.

This is Family Night weekend. They are counting on the new freshman family. They are also doing a tailgate special for those families.

Gotta drop that general admission down to $10.
If we are serious about getting the community excited about A&T football again we can't chase them away sticker shock. Lower the prices and then make a big announcement about it. People will love you for it.
A person making $30,000 a year should not have to take out a personal loan in order to bring their family of 4 to Aggie Stadium.

The "Family 4-pack" would have been good for this game.

The Family 4-pack was originally my idea. We had a similar promotion with the Houston Rockets that was extremely successful. I gave Dee Todd the idea back in 2007 but I guess she didn't have enough political clout to make it happen.
If Hilton can pull it off he will come away looking like a genius.
