Maybe it's because I'm up late and kinda delirious right now, but for some reason I've got a real good feeling about Saturday night's game.
The more I research this kid Quick the more I come away impressed. Tremendous athletic ability and a better-than-advertised throwing arm. The definition of dual threat.
Plus the kid is simply a winner. He hasn't lost a single football game in over a year and he's not looking to start now. He doesn't even like losing in Madden.
Personally, I think he just might have what it takes to shock the world tonight. Sorta like Jason Battle did in 99 - when as a true freshman, he stepped up when our starting quarterback went down and led us to the greatest season in A&T football history.
When you have talent and heart, anything is possible.
My only concern is if the young fellow tries to do too much when the bright lights come on and he commits some costly turnovers. However I'm very aware that Joe Pizzo and Rod Broadway have forgotten more football than I can ever hope to learn, so if they feel like he is up to the task then that's good enough for me.
Let's go Aggies!

Yeah, I'm feeling pretty good about this game too. It's the same feeling I had the night before we played BCU last year. I can't explain it, but I saw a quiet confidence I saw in Broadway in his presser just before that game. I saw the same thing this week. This team is ready!

Well I'm up and ready for my 4 hour drive to Myrtle Beach. Before the Kindle news last week I was 99% sure we were going to win this game but now I'm down to 50%. You just never know how a true freshman will react in his first "college game." Like everyone else, I think if he can minimize the mistakes, we have a good chance. Win or lose today, it's going to be a great season for the Aggies. So let's show up, show out and and win the half time show! Aggie Pride!

CCU's denfensive line is suspect since they lost key players to graduation. Hopefully, we can control the line of scrimmage, minimize turnovers and keep our defense of the field. I'm sleepy as L but I'm ready for some Aggie football. 10 hrs n counting....

Good morning from the beach! Aggie mania has taken over Mrytle Beach. They began arrivng mid afternoon and by eight lat night, the strip was completely swamped by the Aggie Nation.
Folks are up early this morning and the excitment is clearly visible with greetings of "Aggie Pride" in the restuarants, driving down the street, on the sidewalks, the parking garages, the elevators, stairwells -- you name the place and Aggies are all over it down here.
Gotta go, Aggies are meeting for breaskfast in the lobby!

Thrilla, I am with you on your feelings about Quick. I think after a few games into the season, he will be the starter over Kindle.
