Sounds like he thinks his team is loaded. This could be a fun year.

Based on Broadway's confidence, I might need to adjust my pick.

Should be a tough/tight game until late in the 2nd half.

The Coastal coaches' body language and demeanor doesn't seem very confident or comfortable. They seem a little stressed, especially the head coach. Even the player seemed a little scripted. If we get out to a good start they may press a little and make mistakes.

The head coach has a huge chip on his shoulder because he knows he only got the job because he has deep pockets.

I doubt that concerns him too much.
But they do know that if they lose this one, they will have a difficult time the rest of the season. It's very rare that a pwc loses to an hbcu and goes on to have a winning season. And if you lose to a still undermanned team with a true freshman at qb and a 2nd year coaching staff, well...

The thing I realized when lookng at last year's A&T vs Coastal video is that we were severely undersized and lacked speed on both sides of the ball. How much has that changed this year? I don't know. We have to not only stop the run but we couldn't stop the bubble screen. On offense, our OL has to show up and perform. Coastal has 6-7 starters back on defense and about the same back on offense. It will be interesting.

If we get out to a good start they may press a little and make mistakes. Hey don't read anything into the coach's "body language." This guy made millions in business and he has faced more challenging issues than this first game. Trust me, he ain't worried about losing his job or what the alums think at this point. Behind all those kind comments about our experience and player talents, he's thinking about how good it will be to rip our heart out and win the game. I think deep down he's thinking he got a gift to have us as his first game. We don't have the talent, resources or depth they have. Plus, they beat us last year before he showed up with a "better" program. Losing probably hasn't entered his mind. And now with our starting QB out, this is going to be much easier. If we get off to a good start, it might bother him but if they get up big early, they will make our night misable. I wish we had "everyone" playing tomorrow but we will go with what we got. Let's show up, show out and enjoy the half time show!

I looked at their stats from last year and for the life of me I couldn't figure out how they ended up 7-4. They were outscored and outgained almost everywhere. Combine that with that embarassing "dogs and cats" video, losing homecoming, and going 1-4 in televised games, and I could see why they decided to fire Bennett.
I give them credit for hiring Moglia. How many schools would hire the guy? But he's achieved more success (financially, at least) than any other coach in the history of the world (unless Bill Gates has a team in Siberia we don't know about). That's one hell of a role model to have as a coach.
