We could have beaten PV. We ran all over them.
I'll go on record now. We will beat Central 13-10.

Did they win today? Last score seen was 0 - 0 at half.

I think NCCU is our best bet but Norfolk might be a possibility.

NCCU hasn't given up a point in the last two games. How you guys figure on beating them?

Against Fayetteville St and St Aug? Our defense will keep us in the game then devine intervention will take over. We gotta beat somebody. Who better to end this damn streak against. It may as well be Central at home in front of a SRO crowd.

If we do, we need to rush the field. Pass the word. LOL
In all seriousness, the basketball victory where they rushed the floor turned everything around. Kept spirits up and brought the hype back to the program. Same could happen if a big deal is made out of the football team's first win. No matter who its against. Hopefully it will be at home.

"If we do, we need to rush the field. Pass the word. LOL" The Aggie Monster
I see the headline in the news & record about that...
The fans of Aggie Football excite a riot in Greensboro after their victory over central. Included in the damages are the Aggie Jumbo screen and the NCCU Mascot Uniform. lol

I thought we could beat Howard U but I saw the game yesterday against Hampton on video stream. Howard looks a lot better than I thought they would. The newly hired 1A coach for Howard is a hellava lot more organized than Fobbs and a lot younger.
All the MEAC teams are currently two years ahead of A&T with the top schools being three years ahead of A&T. If Fobbs does not hire a offensive coordinator and disguise him as QB coach this Aggie football program will not win more than three games and those three wins won't come until year five. The only teams that are not two years ahead of A&T are WSSU and NCCU and they are not yet eligible for a MEAC title.
This is not panic talk. Coach Eaves inherit a one-win basketball team and he came up with a innovative plan to get his program to .500 by year three even with his ups and downs. Fobbs will have to do the same. He needs to hire a hot young coach and it doesn't matter if he comes to Aggieland from high school as long as he comes from a winning program. Just like Hampton Univ did.

Fobbs has you guys coming along quite nicely. It takes longer to build a team UP than to tear it down. Your squad is young and obviously very hungry. NCA&T will be alright in the near future. It's amazing how something as simple as special teams play coupled w/ a few bad breaks here and there can make your game (season). We experienced that last fall when we lost 5 games by 7 points or less. No special teams play/ball positioning will do that to you. I was semi-shocked after learning that our PAT kicker missed a chip-shot @ 33yds out and also missed an extra point. WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF?! We have 3 on our roster (somewhat touted) and all of them have the capability so I do NOT understand who or why those things were missed. I'll check the stat-sheet to determine who it was.

fobbs main problem at this point is fobbs... fobbs has no confidence in this team & it has filtered down to the players... fobbs think great talent is the only way to win... well i've seen teams with average players beat more talented teams.... why.... confidence!!! confident teams don't beat themselves with the same mistakes every week...example.. how many times is best going to snap the ball over the qbs head to kill drives??? confident teams find ways to beat you... not beat themselves....
fobbs biggest task now is how to get this team to play with that swagger.... that attitude that says " we don't think about winning... because we know we ain't gonna lose..."
but if fobbs is holding back the playbook because he doesn't think this team can handle keeping teams off balance.... then he is telling this squad since you don't believe in you... & hell... i don't believe in you... lets just keep self destructing....
