Brandmasta, this is what doesn't make sense. There were two different parties with two different flight plans for two separate planes with their own flight crews leaving on the same day at approximately the same time. Yet neither party was allowed to load up even though one party supposedly had its plane ready to go. Also no one knew at first glance that it would take 24 hours before the 2nd plane could be ready for flight yet A&T had to wait....wait for what? My guess is neither plane was at the LAX airport when the university parties arrived Sunday morning. When one of the planes finally showed up, late, a decision had to made about which party should go first and flight time became the major deciding factor. But this is my guess. I would not have said too much about the matter but I thought it was too early for snow jobs around my neck of the woods. That's all folks.

For those who went to this game, what was the crowd like? I read that it was anywhere from 32,000 to 50,000. Also, did alot of Aggies attend? Who had more fans in LA, PV or A&T?

The PV side was deeper, but there were some Aggies sitting on the home side. I was sitting on the home side myself for the pre-game stepshow, and I saw quite a few of us on that side. They may have still had more fans at the game though.

I dont have all the facts, and there probably should have been a solution that would have allowed them to get both groups to their destination by Sunday evening. Especially if they knew they were having aircraft problems Saturday night.

I did find out that it was not the promoters fault with the flight situation, it was the airline's (ATA) fault. As far as the attendance for the game, it was closer to 50,000. It was hard to judge which school had the most fans because there were fans on both sides that had no affiliation with either school. Overall it was a good crowd.
