From the article: The third floor ("Chancellor's Level") includes two lease suites that hold 12 people each and the Chancellor's Suite, which holds 54.
The second floor ("Press Level") includes two more 12-person lease suites as well as space for media, operations and home and visiting coaches.
Perkins said all four lease suites are sold out for the upcoming season and each has a waiting list that numbers around 30.Looks the projected revenue stream won't be a problem... if its gone be like that, looks to me we better start pulling out those expansion plans... ;D

Its a combination of a new marketing strategy ( the ouster of McAlphin) and now having a big confidence factor in both your head football coach and AD that is accounting for this upswing of fortune in corporate and private sponsorships.

here's the quote that raised my eyebrow! Harold L. Martin, university chancellor: "This facility sets in place a standard for additional facilities we're thinking about, dreaming about and envisioning for the future of Aggie athletics." now my question is, just what " additional facilities" is dr. martin thinking and dreaming about? anybody have any ideas? could he be referring to the proposed convocation center?

It's a fine line. We don't need another scoreboard panel fiasco, but from the outside looking in, I agree with you.

Some are saying now that maybe A&T should have charged at least $20,000 for the suites.

Don’t get too greedy. Slowly up the price after determining what the market will bear.
I would like the opportunity to look inside that press box. A tour during the middle of the work week isn’t good for many of us. I hope they offer three or four tour dates a year with weekend dates.

The Press Box was impressive to me. I particular liked the Chancellors Suite and the top floor that has a spectacular view of the field and surrounding areas.

I wonder why the PR Department at A&T did not give better advanced notice about the viewing of the press box today. I saw the advertisement in the News - Record sports section by mere coincidence. I don't usually read their paper but bought one today and noticed the small print about the viewing of the press box.
Evidently A&T did not want a tremendous amount of people to attend the event because they sure did not advertise this event well. However, that is par for the course at A&T.

Guys, be happy the new facility is complete, ready for this fall's football season and is sold out. Let's enjoy that for a few minutes before we start poking holes in how much they charged for suites, signage rights and open house scheduling. I think it's better to have it sold out this first season at $10,000 a pop than half empty at $20,000. I've got Carolina Panther tickets and they keep edging those prices up nearly every year. If there's 30 on the waiting list now, wait until Broadway has a big season and that list and the price will go up.
After all the delays and confussion over this new facility, looks like A&T has salvaged a "victory."

It's been a very decent off-season for Aggie athletics. Lets enjoy it. Get excited and urge your friends to break out their checkbooks for $100(AAF membership) plus season tickets this year. If they cant get season tickets because they cant make but 1 or 2 games then tell them to buy the online season pass. Time to stop complaining and go back to promoting our school. They are making strides and alumni should now step up.
