Add one to the list of most impressive structures in Greensboro. But, no matter how grand the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering looks on the outside, the big story is about all the little things that will happen inside. Really little. So small that, in some cases, it requires a helium-ion microscope to see them. Fortunately, the school has one -- which no other research or educational facility in the Southeastern United States can say. Nanosciences deal with particles at the atomic and molecular levels. The Joint School, a collaborative project of N.C. A&T and UNCG, trains students in basic and applied research in this field. Operating in a temporary home on the South Campus of the Gateway University Research Park, it's already offering master's and doctoral degrees... Since 2010, the school has been housed in a building (on south campus) which primary purpose is research and related business endeavors. Now, JSNN is moving into their own building.

The opening of the building was today but classes wont start in the building until January. Gateway Research Park has two campuses, North Campus (New Building Opened Yesterday) and South Campus (Brown Summit).

That doesn't make sense.
Should't the north campus be in Brown Summit since it is north of Greensboro?

Your right... I had the two mixed up. Ive always refered to the other sight at Brown Summit Campus so that explains my snafu. Below is the link which explains both locations. www.gatewayurp.com/Tenants.html

I give kudos to the editor and editorial board to finally get it right and have NCA&T title come first. I complain mightily about N&R using an incorrect title of the nano program with A&T's title being second instead of first. The writer of past articles was using UNCG title first.
Nanotechnology is definitely the wave of the technological future.
