Tied at 20 at half
Looks like UF made the adjustments and exploited their strengths in the 2nd half
Keep fighting MEAC!

Looks like Hampton isn't invincible. i need to see them play so that i can have an idea of how we'd match up against them. all i need to see is who their new players are and how talented they are. i'm already familiar with their returning players and we've got the guns to go toe to toe with them. if we match up favorably against their new players, we'll have a legit shot to go to the big dance. we'll just have to beat hampton 1 time in the tournament if it comes to that. otherwise, i don't see anybody else in the meac beating us at corbett and probably not on the road either. if our lady aggie puppies grow up by the time meac play comes around, i just don't see anybody other than hampton who can withstand the depth we have. i know morgan and howard beat us once last year, but we didn't have amber and we didn't have this outstanding recruiting class. i don't see them beating us this year. and since we don't play hampton during the regular season, i'd be absolutely shocked if we loss more than 1 meac game this season, maximum 2. and the only reason i'm leaving leeway for 1 or 2 losses is because funny things happen on the road when you're laden with a squad dominated by freshmen. but it wouldn't surprise me if we came up with "goose eggs" in the conference loss column by the end of the regular season...

HiU is the abbreviation for Hampton, and HU is the abbreviation for Howard so as to distinguish the two. It's been that way ever since Hampton Institute became a university.

The Hampton Band says "H I U" when they come to attention, btw. They embrace that part of their legacy as "Hampton Institute".

(squad dominated by freshmen? ?)......come on your freshmen do not come close to dominating in minutes played...you have vets at every position that's only against teams like liberty and clemson. not too many teams in the meac are at that level. besides, the point i was trying to make is that the makeup of our team is dominated by freshmen. our primary backups and the bench are dominated by freshmen. never stated that the freshmen played more minutes. the notion that our team is"...laden with a squad dominated by freshmen" doesn't mean that the freshmen play more minutes. it means the makeup of our team is dominated by freshmen...
