He's now within a stones throw of becoming A&T's all time leading rusher (a shade under 200 yds).
No disrespect to Mo Hicks but give Mike his due. The kid can play and plays hurt a lot. He may not be the fastest, the biggest, or the flashiest back you'll see but he's dependable, and a big game player, a blue collar runner, if you will, those are the guys that coaches will always go to when they need a big play or are about to finish off the opposition at crunch time even when everyone in the place knows he's coming.
Besides he's one of the nicest kids you'll ever meet, very humble and is a team first leader.
I wish him the very best and look forward to him having a huge senior season next year.

congrats to our "all meac" players and thanks for sticking with our program! you represent the foundation of a changing culture in aggieland. we're proud of you as well as the entire team! i know we could've won more games, but you gave us "quality football" all season long. i'm confident that this team is only gonna get much better next season.
great job, guys! and we look forward to seeing mr. mayhew again next year! a lot of opposing meac coaches ain't gone be too happy about trying to stop mr. mayhew again next season...

Congratulations to all of our players. Those elected, and those who were slighted. I don't think the MEAC. Knew just what to do with us. There is a reason why we led the MEAC in run defense, and as good as he was, it wasn't Farrell. Some of those selected, were pre season selections, so they were pretty much going to make it if they had a decent season.

No question in my mind that this conference is definitely biased toward the northern based schools.
