Me thinks we should have beaten Howard. That game I think started the momentum for us to lose the Conf. title. and we never recovered mentally.

EASY , FOOTBALL IS A GAME OF MATCH-UPS. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT A&T WOULD WIN AS MANY GAMES AS THEY DID THIS YEAR? THEY WERE NOT ALL OF THAT!GOOD COACHING INFERIOR TALENT! NEXT YEAR IS A&T YEAR AS LONG AS THEY DON'T START READING DUMB FORUM LIKE THIS.

Yea I would agree I don't think we was as good as we thought but I cannot understand how we dominate Bethune Cookman who beat Florida A&M this weekend.

Coach Broadway and his staff worked a miracle just to make this team as competitive as it was. So I am thankful that we played well enough to beat a few teams and not bad enough to kill the kid's spirits. With some more scholarships, a few more players and hard work in the off-season, we should have the most exciting show in the MEAC next year. I'm not predicting a MEAC championship yet. These other guys in the MEAC aren't going to sit around doing nothing all year. I expect a few other teams to try to get their act together and that will make the 2012 season very exciting.

But this happens all the time when you are rebuilding...you win games you are "supposed" lose and you lose games you are "supposed" to win. Happens all the time. All the games we loss were winnable games in the conference, that gives me a lot of optimism for next season. But, that's only if we return our team in tact with some additions. I repeat...if we return our team in tact with ADDITIONS, not subtractions. If we lose players, then all bets are off!

If we lose players, then all bets are off! one thing is for sure, we'd better find a bona fide "legit" wide receiver to replace miles or we could be in trouble. just think where we'd be this season without miles? its great that most of our o-line will be returning, plus both kindle and mayhew return next season which is a major, major deal! we also return 10 of our 11 starters on defense, which is also a big deal! but we've got to find a couple of receivers who aren't afraid to catch the ball in traffic and will "aggressively" go after the ball like miles does. add a legit punter to the squad and everything else goes toward building quality depth at every position...

I know this . If I'm a returning receiver I would be in Kindles hip pocket everyday running routs and having him throwing to me to build that trust before spring practice begins to show that I'm ready to be the next Miles. Also I would run indoor track if I could are just practice with the track team to increase over all speed. You never have off time at this level. THE ONES THAT PUT IN THE WORK ARE THE ONES THAT WILL PLAY ON A BROADWAY TEAM.

I now have confidence in Raper. I probably gave him the more hell than anyone on this board, but I think he will be up for it next year. At least enough so that another reciever/s can come up and be a 1, 2, or even 3 punch with him. Maybe a 1-2 punch at WR and a very good TE.
I just hope Raper and Kindle work together all off-season. They do that and they will be Hell for opponents next year.

YOU NEED COACH GROOMS. THE OSA. COACH GROOMS US TO HAVE HICK'S AND THE OTHER DB'S HIT US IN PRACTICE IF YOU MADE THE CATCH ARE NOT....LOL. GROOMS WOULD SAY "SON YOU JUST AS WELL CATCH IT BECAUSE YOUR GOING TO GET HIT ANY WAY...LOL. I US TO FEEL SORRY FOR THE RECEIVERS BECAUSE O.HICKS,STEVE,RAP BROWN AND THAT LOW DOWN BIRD LOVED THAT TARGET PRACTICE IN 7 ON 7. BUT IT WORKED...LOL MAKE THE CATCH AND GET DOWN ARE GET THE (H) OUT OF THEIR. THAT'S THE ONLY WAY I NO.....LOL YOU CAN'T TEACH "TOUGHNESS" BUT YOU CAN MAKE A PLAYER TOUGH. AS FOR ME I COULD CATCH ANYTHING COMING OUT OF THE BACK FIELD AND I LOVE RUNNING THE BALL INSIDE-OUTSIDE I WAS COOL WITH THAT BUT WHEN FACE MOVED ME TO RECEIVER I HATED IT BECAUSE I HAD ALWAYS BEEN A (RB) IT'S JUST THE PLAYER AND HIS STATE OF MIND. CHANGE HIS MIND SET YOU CHANGE THE PLAYER.
