Wallace Miles finished with nine catches for 106 yards and touchdown. In doing so, he broke the Aggies single-season record for receiving yards, surpassing Herbert Harbison's 905 yards in 1985.
Miles is two receptions away from breaking Harbison and Brandon Trusty's single-season record for receptions (63), and he is 75 yards away from becoming the first Aggie to have 1,000 yards receiving in a season.

Herbert Harbison, aka "Mr. Excitement", Allan Hooker's favorite long-ball target. Way to go W. Miles!!!!

What a story. A walk on Kcker. Add to those accomplishments, he needs 9 receptions to break Harbison's record of career receptions, and 186 yards to break Harbisons career yardage record. I was looking at the media guide, that lists the A&T records, I sure would have loved to have been around to see Maurice Hicks run the ball. GAUDY NUMBERS

Youtube him. Some of his runs are on there. Brings back great memories too.
As for Miles, in my opinion he's one of the greatest Aggie players in history. Academically and athletically he's been a force.

We could have a first at A&T for all three things to happen below:
QB who threw for over 2.000 yds(1819 current) RB who rushed for over 1,000 yds( 957 current) WR who recieved over 1,000 yds ( 925 current)

We've been offensively challenged for a while.

I know that Kindle was Miles QB in high school. I was also told that Cam Newton was Miles' QB in high school before Kindle. Can someone tell me if the Cam Newton/W. Miles connection is true or not?

It's very possible. Cam Newton was a Senior at Westlake High School in 2006 and I could be mistaken but I think Miles joined the A&T footbal team in 2007 so it sounds possible that Cam Newton may have been his QB before Kindle

Congrats Wallace! He has progressed every year. Hopefully Broadway can bring in a few more players next year of his caliber.

Miles graduated with Cam. Kindle and Miles never really teamed up. I believe they establised a rapport in practice, but with Newton on the scene, Kindle got very little PT. Westlake is well known for running the spread offense, and many good receivers come out of there. Kindle actually had better passing stats than Newton did, but he was not 6.5 250 lbs. Miles kicked and punted as a junior, and started as a wide receiver as a senior. Like I said, there were many good receivers there (all except Miles received scholarships), but obviously, that did not deter Miles, it motivated him.
