I THINK A&T HAS FINALLY GOT IT RIGHT WHEN BROADWAY WAS HIRED AS COACH. HE NEEDS ALL THE SUPPORT WE CAN GIVE HIM BECAUSE THERE ARE OTHER PROGRAMS OUT THERE ,WHO WILL BE COMING AFTER HIM.

Not much chance of that happening. Unless some other school has a million dollars in salary and another quarter of a million to buyout both his cuurent contract and option, he won't be going anywhere. He's here for the long haul and this is his last stop in his own words.

I cannot wait to start the "2012 Pay Back Tour." Staring Rod Broadway and his mighty Aggie Football team. All those teams that have scheduled us for their Homecomings or used us as doormats will feel Rod's foot up their butts. Go Aggies!

Next year we go to twelve games. Hopefully the conference schedule for next year should reflect the opposite of this season with at least seven home games being assured, with five MEAC games being in Greensboro if there is any equity to come from the MEAC.

I hope that is the case Aggie One! I will be travelling to Greensboro quite often. AGGIE PRIDE!

I'm looking forward to seeing how well A&t does during the recruiting season. Broadway seems to have supreme confidence in his ability to attract top talent. Not just in NC, but across the country. In particular, would be great to get 2 kickers on scholarship, also need some size on the D Line, and some talented DBs. I think the offense has the nucleus to build upon what they have accomplished this year. Go Aggies

It should be pretty well set unless Dennis Thomas gives us the shaft again. Our home schedule starts with our opener against a annual cupcake the last week of August as a warm-up then you would have the following teams likely traveling here:
Cupcake U (The Opener, Late August) FAMU Howard SCSU Morgan Norfolk App State (first return game as part of the contract we signed two years ago on a four year deal)
The most likely road games in 2012: Savannah State, BCU, DSU, Coastal, and NCCU.
A really attractive home schedule like that would probably raise our season ticket sales by another 50 percent at least. All of those visiting teams travel exceptionally well except Morgan.
App State has a huge Josef Club Chapter in the Triad and unlike Elon, they will show up in large numbers in Aggie Stadium, band and all.

App State? Really? They list their opponents as soon as they schedule them and A&T is not on the 2012 schedule yet. Only Montana. And they normally try and schedule a BCS school for that 2nd non-conference game.

I thought App State was a one year deal? It is. Thats why there was a guarantee. You don't pay a guarantee for a home and home series.

If not App, then we should probably play a FCS team which we we would have a than better even chance to beat even if we have to go on the road on a home and home deal.
Two that come to mind are Western Carolina or Campbell.
