It just strange that FAMU doesn't have that star RB or QB. This is just an average team. They have the nice FR QB and SR WR Kevin Elliot but that about it. The running game is coming along the last couple of weeks but playing Sav State and Howard will help it out

now that we've loss 2 in a row to howard and norfolk, famu just might let their guards down a little against us. they've had a couple of impressive wins over ssu and scsu since losing to howard several weeks ago. so they might be feeling just a little over confident this weekend.
we'll see, but there's a chance that we might be able to pull this one out...

No chance for that OSA! FAMU plays us as if we are one of their rivals. Which we are. SSU had 233 yards Rushing and 123 passing at FAMU but fumbled 7 times that's what killed them. We can run and pass on A&M but we can not make mistakes. FVSU had 401 TOTAL OFFENSE YARDS ,SCSU 439 TOTAL OFFENSE YARDS . They can be beat. When we get into the red zone we must score.

Honestly, we should win. For the past few seasons, we've play FAMU stupid close and we actually should have won last year, if I recall correctly.

I been saying that all week. The only thing that could happen if we let the score get away from us. But if the score is close I truly believe we will win. I don't know why.

But really you could had said that in both games we loss. I dont care what anyone says we are losing differently verses in the pass years where we get blown out and cannot even make a game out of it.

two years ago in his first ever start, kindle had his coming out party against famu as a true freshman. he gave them fits. he passed for over 200 yards, had 2 passing touchdowns, rushed for 62 yards and ran for another touchdown. so he should feel pretty confident going back to tally. but i'm sure joe taylor won't take him lightly, he probably remembers that we led them at halftime and barely loss that game by 4 points, a game we should've won.
then last year at home without kindle and having a 1-9 record, we took them to overtime and should've won that game too. maybe our performance against them the last two years plays to famu's favor because they've got to be aware that despite our record, we have a tendency to play them tough. and they probably learned their lesson not to take anybody lightly after losing their homecoming game to howard.
so i can see this game going either way. i think a lot will ride on which team will be mentally stronger than the other. if famu lets their guards down, we will get 'em! i'm sure our guys won't let their guards down, but if famu plays inspired football like they did against scsu, look for famu to pull this one out...

I think that we have the Horses . It's just that they get tired when the Offense go's 3 and out. We match up with FAMU equally player to player wise. If we manage the time and ball wisely and can get the D rested we'll be OK. If Mayhew can get lose and the running game is clicking, Kindle is on point with his receivers and their catching the ball the way they should. I think the chances for a win is about 85%. Sp teams is the only problem that I am concerned about. They can't allow mistakes like before. Also the Red Zone Offense must score. We can not come away with no points when were that close.

That's what "not having the horses" means. Our starters are good, but thats all we have. We lost to Howard cause we didn't have the horses. Maybe I should have said "We dont have ENOUGH horses". That sound better.
